The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 461: Chapter 461: Speaking of Dreams Turns into a Mute Chapter 461: Chapter 461: Speaking of Dreams Turns into a Mute “The point isn’t to score a hundred, the point is to write the essay! It’s about planning our future!”

“Oh oh oh…” Little Taotie nodded vigorously like pounding garlic, tilting her head in confusion, “Future… how do we plan it?”

“Think about what job you want to do when you grow up?”

“Anything that fills the stomach is fine.”

“Think more specifically!”

“I can’t think of anything.” Little Taotie said anxiously, “What about you, what do you want to do when you grow up?”

Xiao Lingzhi chuckled.

Little Taotie stared at her.

Xiao Lingzhi gestured to her, “Bring your ear over, I’ll tell you a secret!”

Little Taotie leaned in with her ear, and Xiao Lingzhi whispered in her ear, tickling her so much it made Little Taotie giggle and laugh. Xiao Lingzhi looked aggrieved, “Listen to me seriously, stop laughing!”

“You’re too close, it’s like you’re blowing into my ear, it’s so ticklish, I can’t help it, hehehe…”

Xiao Lingzhi had no choice but to pull back a little, “How about now?”

“A little better!”

“Let me tell you, when I grow up I want to be a big director!”

“You want to make movies?”

“Yeah! I’m now in the crew as a child actress to observe directors’ lives up close, and even learn from them stealthily! I’ve figured it out, I’m seven years old now, I’ll act for another ten years, after ten years, I’ll start with short videos to test the waters, do that for three years, and by the time I’m twenty, I can make big movies…”

Little Taotie’s eyes widened as she looked at Xiao Lingzhi, who was nonstop about her clear future plans, and clapped in admiration, “You’re so amazing!”

“Of course! The essay ‘My Dream’ was full marks for me! I’m the only one in my class with full marks on an essay. So awesome!”

Xiao Lingzhi lifted her chin with pride and burst into a big laugh, “I’ll definitely become a great director! My grandpa says, ‘What you are at three is what you will be at eighty,’ and I set my dream at three, so I’m sure I can do it!”

Xiao Lingzhi has been a child actress since she was three and now has four years of acting experience as a “method actor!”

“Have you thought about it, what you want to do in the future?”

Little Taotie shook her head, “As long as I can fill my belly, accumulate Merit, and have a lot of people like me, I’ll be happy.”

“A lot of people like you? Top stream superstar! Becoming a top stream superstar will make a lot of people like you! Is accumulating Merit about donating money?”

“Donating money?” Little Taotie puzzled.

“Aren’t many wealthy people donating money to build schools, bridges, roads and such, as well as organizing charity galas, auctioning things off…”

Little Taotie’s eyes lit up, “Then, can airports be built to let those kids take planes for free?”

“That’s too troublesome, you could arrange for those kids who have never flown to go to an existing airport and take a flight. But what’s the point of just flying without reason?”

“Don’t they want to fly?” Little Taotie furrowed her brows in confusion.

“People take flights mostly to go on trips.”

“Then I’ll donate money to let them fly on trips, can that accumulate Merit?”

“I’m not too sure either.” Xiao Lingzhi was puzzled, “Why do you want to accumulate Merit?”

Little Taotie opened her mouth, wanting to share her dreams with her best friend, but when she tried to speak, her voice seemed to get stuck in her throat.

She tried several times, but still couldn’t make a sound.

“What’s wrong?” Xiao Lingzhi asked with concern.

Little Taotie shook her head, “I don’t know, eh? How come I can speak now?”

Little Taotie found out that as long as she did not speak about the things in her dream, she could speak, but whenever she tried to tell Xiao Lingzhi about the dream, her voice would disappear again.
