The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 462: Chapter 462: Almost Brushing My Teeth to Pieces Chapter 462: Chapter 462: Almost Brushing My Teeth to Pieces Little Taotie eventually gave up and stopped talking.

Xiao Lingzhi, ever so carefree, thought she had a sore throat and got out of bed to pour her a glass of water.

Drinking the water, Little Taotie was extremely puzzled.

Actually, she had mentioned her dreams to Hua Jinyan before and talked about being able to see the flowers above people’s heads to distinguish their degree of affection for her, and she had managed to do so with ease.

But why did she turn into a little mute and couldn’t speak when it came to Xiao Lingzhi?

The doorbell rang.

Xiao Lingzhi, barefoot, went to open the door, and there stood two old men at the doorway.

Upon seeing one of them, Xiao Lingzhi immediately threw herself onto his legs and whined, “Grandpa, how come you’re here? Did you miss me?”

The old man, seeing his granddaughter barefoot, picked her up and sighed, “You’re running around without socks on again!”

Little Taotie poked her head to look outside the door and saw Tao Mo leaning on a cane.

Tao Mo walked in, carrying a bag, and said with a loving smile, “Are you hungry?”

Little Taotie’s tummy cooperatively answered, “Gurgle!”

Little Taotie patted her belly and her face turned red with embarrassment, whispering softly, “My tummy says… it’s hungry.”

Tao Mo was amused by the little girl’s shy and cute demeanor, “Then quickly go wash your face and brush your teeth, and come eat breakfast. We have sandwiches, pan-fried buns, egg pancakes, chicken pancakes…”

The more Little Taotie listened, the hungrier she got, and she immediately jumped out of bed, put on her slippers, and dashed to the bathroom.

Gu Bei had already prepared everything in the hotel room’s bathroom for Little Taotie, including towels with bear patterns, a rabbit toothbrush cup, a pink toothbrush…

When Little Taotie finished wiping her face and came out, Xiao Lingzhi had already started eating.

“You…” Little Taotie’s eyes widened, “You started eating without brushing your teeth or washing your face!”

“Oh, it’s alright!” Xiao Lingzhi waved her little hand with a sandwich in her mouth, muffledly saying, “I’ve observed those big directors. They work through the night, sleep for a bit, get up and eat without brushing their teeth or washing their faces! I’m just following their example!”

Little Taotie: “…”

Xiao Lingzhi’s grandfather sighed, his face an expression of helplessness.

Xiao Lingzhi swallowed the sandwich in her mouth and proclaimed carelessly, “It’s the same if you brush your teeth and wash your face after eating! Actually, it’s cleaner, you know. All the food residue in your mouth is gone! Now you brush your teeth and eat so cleanly, but after eating, your mouth is still dirty! Not as clean as me!”

Tao Mo, hearing this flawed logic, looked at his own well-behaved grandchild, worried that he might really take it to heart.

Little Taotie frowned and muttered, “After eating… the mouth does seem really dirty.”

“See? I told you! It’s definitely cleaner to brush your teeth after eating!” Xiao Lingzhi said triumphantly.

Little Taotie became conflicted, counting on her fingers, “After eating, I also need to brush my teeth.”

“Hehe, that’s right! You should brush your teeth after eating!” Xiao Lingzhi felt even more proud, thinking she was incredibly impressive for persuading the clean-loving Little Taotie!

Just as she was basking in her smugness, Little Taotie looked up at her with those clean and clear eyes, earnestly saying, “You need to brush your teeth after eating, and you also need to brush when you wake up, you should brush your teeth both times!”

Xiao Lingzhi: “…”

Little Taotie counted on her fingers, “Brush once when you wake up, after breakfast brush once, after lunch brush once, after the afternoon snack brush once, after dinner brush once, and before bed brush once…”

Xiao Lingzhi said with a tinge of despair, “My teeth are going to be brushed away!”
