The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Capítulo 1028: Chapter 1028: Candied Hawthorn in Many Styles

Little Taotie, Xiao Lingzhi, and Little Jinzi, the three little cubs, had already left the capital and arrived at their next stop, Magic City.

Looking at Pearl TV Station, Little Jinzi opened his mouth wide, “It looks like a candied hawthorn skewer!”

“Hmm! Now that you mention it, I can see the resemblance!” Xiao Lingzhi blinked.

Little Taotie giggled, “You guys just want to eat candied hawthorn, don’t you?”

The three little cubs held hands as they went to buy candied hawthorn to eat.

“Oh! It’s different!” Little Jinzi took a bite and was incredibly surprised.

Both are Hua Country delicacies, yet they’re completely different in two places!

Little Taotie chewed on the soft and sticky candied hawthorn, “Inside is a soft center, a little glutinous rice dumpling.”

Xiao Lingzhi opened one of the candied hawthorns, the hawthorn seeds had been picked out, and inside was filled with soft and sweet glutinous rice dumplings. One bite and it was sweet and sour, soft and sticky.

“Sister Little Taotie, you really didn’t lie to me, Hua Country food is truly amazing. The same ingredient can be transformed into so many different textures and they all taste so good! I like the original crispy candied hawthorn in the Hua Country capital, and I also like this Magic City one with a sweet and sour, soft glutinous center!” Little Jinzi said excitedly with one candied hawthorn in each hand, cheeks bulging.

“Magic City’s Little Steamed Buns are very tasty, let’s go eat them!” Xiao Lingzhi suggested.

“Dumplings?” Little Jinzi hesitated, “Actually, I’m not a big fan of dumplings; the skin is too thick.”

“They’re Little Steamed Buns, small with thin skins and lots of soup! We had them on the cruise!”

“I remember now, they were served with shrimp dumplings on the table? So hot, they almost scalded me!” Little Jinzi suddenly realized, “That’s what you call Little Steamed Buns?”

Xiao Lingzhi nodded, “Magic City’s Little Steamed Buns come in many flavors, I’ve heard there’s even a crab roe flavor.”

“Crab roe!” Little Jinzi’s eyes lit up, “I like it I like it!”

“It’s August, not the season for hairy crabs yet, but we can still try June Yellow, which should be quite tasty!” Xiao Lingzhi checked her phone, “October and November are the best times to eat hairy crabs.”

“Then let’s come back in October and November to eat!” Little Jinzi’s eyes sparkled.

Little Taotie shook his head, “School starts in September, and you have to return to Country H.”

Little Jinzi drooped his head, “Hua Country is so wonderful, I don’t want to go back at all.”

“Come back during winter break to play!” Xiao Lingzhi suggested, “There are many winter delicacies like lamb spine hotpot, cured meat, and cured chicken…”

Little Jinzi perked up again, “Great great, I’ll come during winter break!”

The three arrived at a crab roe Little Steamed Bun shop, said to be the most authentic and famous online. At the entrance, it was clear why the shop was famous: there was a line outside.

Little Taotie peeked inside the store, “It’s full of people inside, dining in would take a long time. We might as well buy and take away, right?”

Xiao Lingzhi nodded, “Eating while walking also sounds good, a little street snack!”

Little Jinzi was fine as long as there was food, whether sitting or standing, as long as it’s a delicacy, it’s great either way!

The three little cubs obediently stood at the end of the line to queue, but even with masks on, they were still recognized by the young lady in line ahead.

The young lady was considerate, not shouting but instead speaking softly to the little cubs behind her in line, “Are you Little Taotie?”
