Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2399: Chapter 2292: Let’s Make an Agreement in Advance

”Feeling better?” Ji Chuan looked at her smiling face, and instantly felt like a weight had been lifted from his heart.

”Yeah.” Yan Huan said, ”I feel like the weight of the world has lightened!”

”That’s good.”

”It’s just... your clothes...” Yan Huan looked at the exaggerated water stain on his chest, she couldn’t believe she had cried so much.

Ji Chuan looked down at the wet spot on his chest and jokingly teased her, ”Well, this time is much better than last time! You don’t know, last time, your snot and tears got all over me, and you still weren’t satisfied, and you even ended up puking all over me!”

”Ji Chuan!” Yan Huan could hardly imagine such a ”beautiful scene,” ”Are you really telling the truth? Why do you have a different story every time?”

”You caught me?” Ji Chuan laughed heartily.

”Obviously! I’m not an idiot!”

”Want to know?”

”Yeah! Tell me the truth!”

”Sorry, maybe I’ve told so many versions, I’ve forgotten the original one!”

”You!!” Yan Huan was exasperated.

Watching her furrowed brow and pouting lips, Ji Chuan laughed happily.

Perhaps, in the days to come, he might never tell Yan Huan.

That night when she was drunk, and looked so charming, standing on her tiptoes, tightly hugging his neck, bringing her lips to his.

Ji Chuan clearly heard the sound of ice melting and the budding of spring grass in his heart.

In the days to come, perhaps he might never tell Yan Huan.

That night, she first kissed him forcefully. The next second, he started enjoying the taste of her kiss.

”Ji Chuan, don’t bring that up again in the future!” Yan Huan really couldn’t bear to hear it again, she could almost imagine her embarrassing state at that time.

It must have been unbearably shameful.

”Okay! I won’t bring it up!” Ji Chuan agreed with a smile.

Yes, feelings really aren’t something you can control. Once your heart is moved, it can no longer be calm.

Just like him, although he knew Yan Huan was in love with Cheng Yue, he had planned to give up. But seeing her hurt, he still couldn’t bear to let go.

His love for her went beyond hoping for mutual affection. He hoped that under the sky he held up for her, she could breathe freely, without pain, without tears.

”Thank you, Ji Chuan!” Yan Huan suddenly became serious and sincere.

”With me, you never need to thank me. I’m willing to do anything for you!” Ji Chuan looked at Yan Huan and said word by word, ”Don’t worry, don’t be sad! I will definitely find a way to cure your illness!”

”Can my strange illness really be cured?”

”Yes! I’ll try my best! Medicine is advancing, and science is advancing, there’s always a mystery that can be solved!” Ji Chuan said confidently.

”Mm.” Yan Huan nodded, ”I’ll wait for that day to come!”

”Alright. Let’s make a promise in advance? If your illness is cured, and if you’re willing, I hope we can go out and explore our country’s rivers and mountains together!”

”Of course! I’m willing! I’ll make a promise with you! Then I’ll definitely thank you properly!”

Ji Chuan raised an eyebrow and a bright smile bloomed on his face.

Half-jokingly, he pointed to his cheek and said, ”Come on, can I get an advance on your thanks?”
