Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 2038: Chapter 2031: All the Clues Point to Him

Qin Jian stood there with a grim expression on his face.

He never expected that one day the National Security Bureau would investigate him.

The reason for the investigation was actually due to a leak.

Does this mean that batch of data was stolen by someone else?

That’s impossible!

”What’s going on?” An Hao was also quite confused. She asked Qin Jian, ”The data was actually leaked? How is that possible? Why so quickly?”

”I don’t know.” Qin Jian said in a low voice.

”Could it be that during the car accident, the data was swapped by someone else?” An Hao analyzed the possibilities.

”No.” Qin Jian replied with certainty, ”The data is correct and it wasn’t swapped! I verified it myself! There can’t be any mistake!”

”Then could it have been during your unconsciousness that someone showed the data to others?” Zhang Yun suggested.

”I’m not sure! At that time, after I lost consciousness, I didn’t know anything. When I woke up, I was already lying on the hospital bed, and I even asked for the bag!”

”This is strange indeed!”

”If the data was leaked, it could only have happened when you were unconscious! Other times it should be impossible!” An Hao felt this was the most likely scenario.

”Then, who took me to the hospital emergency room when I was unconscious?” Qin Jian asked.

”Lin Qiushu! But it’s also not possible to rule out whether your bag was taken by someone else at the accident scene...” These clues were too few but also too chaotic.

For a moment, An Hao couldn’t make sense of it all.

”Lin Qiushu?” Upon hearing it was her, Zhang Yun shook her head repeatedly and said, ”That’s impossible! Qiushu is such a good child, her character is evident to all of us! How could it be her?”

Zhang Yun wasn’t willing to believe that Lin Qiushu did such a thing.

This was her niece, and she didn’t believe she would do something like this.

People who steal information usually do it to sell it for money, but Lin Qiushu has a vast fortune and endless business both domestically and internationally, she doesn’t need money at all.

Why would someone who doesn’t need money steal information?

”I don’t believe it either. Mom, don’t worry, we’re just helping Qin Jian analyze the possibilities! It’s not just Qiushu who might be capable of this, even you and I could potentially have done it! Anyone who had contact with the documents cannot be completely ruled out!” An Hao said.

They were analyzing the situation in the kitchen, while in the living room, Ning Yibin was still arguing with the National Security Bureau people.

”Comrade, please analyze carefully why Qin Jian would steal secrets and leak them? No, he doesn’t even need to steal them, he’s the person in charge of this task, leaking the data would be the easiest thing to do, wouldn’t it? The key is why he would do such a thing? Why?” Ning Yibin was frustrated about this.

As a soldier, he has always been loyal.

His son Qin Jian is no exception!

He could not tolerate others questioning their loyalty!

”Yes. Commander, please don’t be angry! We’re just going through the procedural investigation. We haven’t said that it was Captain Qin who leaked the information!” The comrade from the National Security Bureau was also very helpless, even though they also felt that the story seemed impossible and somewhat incredulous, but all indications seemed to point to Qin Jian.
