CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1862: Chapter 1870: Rest for Two Months

Sorry, sorry, I accidentally forgot last night~ I’m sorry~ I’m sorry~ You wouldn’t have stayed up waiting all night and not slept, would you? — James Black’s wife.

When James Black saw this message, he held back for a long time before he resisted directly blocking Jane Sampson.

Anyway, Jane Sampson was always eager to admit her mistakes but never truly repented.

James Black was furious, but he couldn’t bring himself to actually block his young wife.

Because James Black knew that if he really blocked Jane Sampson, he shouldn’t expect her to apologize; most likely, Jane Sampson would just go ahead and block him too.

Blocking him was something Jane Sampson used to do quite often.

James Black eventually took out his anger on the group of new recruits who collided with his hand, personally leading them to train an extra whole afternoon, drilling those rookie recruits until they returned like dogs, and in doing so, also exhausted all his energy before he finally called Jane Sampson.

When the phone connected, James Black’s first sentence was, ”When are you coming back? How much longer for filming?”

”...” Instinct told Jane Sampson that James Black had waited for her call all night, but she had forgotten, and James Black was likely very angry now.

An angry man needs to be soothed.

”Very soon,” Jane Sampson said, ”Filming is going very smoothly; we’ve already shot more than half, and it should take about another month, no more than one and a half months to complete.”

Speaking of this, Jane Sampson guiltily added two more sentences, ”So, if you count, it’s just thirty to forty days, very soon, right?”

”Your crew’s filming efficiency is so low?” James Black sneered.

If the director heard this, he’d probably hide in the corner and cry for a while.

This drama was the smoothest one filmed out of so many shows, and the progress had always been proceeding according to plan.

Low efficiency? It’s just someone missing his wife, disliking everything for no reason.

Unless told that filming wraps tomorrow and his wife can go home to cuddle and warm the quilt, in his eyes, everything is inefficient.

Jane Sampson was speechless, ”Ahh,” she chuckled sheepishly, nervously laughing.

She knew James Black was angry.

”After filming this drama, rest for two months,” James Black seized the chance of Jane Sampson’s guilt and made a request, ”Stay with me at the guard team for two months before starting work; I need to personally supervise you to take care of your health.”

”Listen to you, listen to you, all listen to you.” Jane Sampson nodded emphatically, with no intention of voicing her own opinions, at least not now.

Nevertheless, Jane Sampson didn’t have much opinion initially.

Jane Sampson is inherently a relatively homely person; every time she and James Black are apart for a while, she starts to miss him.

This time in the film crew, because there is Brother James Carter, and also because of frequent calls from daddy and mommy, making her feel the time away from home and James Black was not difficult to endure.

The drama was only halfway through, but there was already a pile of new scripts from Rock Bell waiting for her to select.

Jane Sampson hadn’t yet replied to Rock Bell because her initial plan was to finish this drama and take a break, freeing up enough time to properly accompany her family.

Of course, she would also spend quality time with James Black.

The sudden passing of Grandpa Sampton and Granny Sampton still felt like a surreal dream to Jane Sampson until now.

Jane Sampson wants to put family in the most important position, not wanting the time for filial duty to be short and her loved ones not being there.
