CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1761: Chapter 1769: Wrap Up Filming

The film crew held a wrap-up party for her, and everyone went to the hot pot restaurant for a lively evening. In the evening, James Black personally drove to the hot pot restaurant doorway to pick up Jane Sampson.

This was to bring the person who had just finished work directly back to the guard team.

Saying goodbye to the friends from the film crew, Jane Sampson was smiling as she was led by James Black onto the car.

”Did you drink?” James Black smelled the scent of wine on Jane Sampson when he picked her up. At first, he thought someone else had been drinking, because they were sitting in a private room, so the scent clung to her as well.

But when he led her two steps and turned back to see her rosy face, James Black realized that she had also been drinking.

”I had two glasses of beer. I was so happy, so I had two glasses.” Jane Sampson clung to James Black’s arm, resting her head on his arm and rubbing against it, maintaining a very positive attitude of admitting her mistake, ”It won’t happen again.”

In June, Capital Province was already getting hot. After drinking two small glasses of chilled beer, Jane Sampson felt a bit guilty, like she had sneakily drunk a cold drink.

For over a month, her schedule had been packed with filming, and she hadn’t seen James Black for over a month.

Bright Sampton went abroad for final training, and James Black took people to participate in the guard team’s drill. Everyone was busy, and naturally, they had no time to meet.

James Black acknowledged with a soft ”hmm,” not rushing to start the car, but handing Jane Sampson a bottle of water before saying, ”The TV drama crew on the other side will be broadcasting in half a month. In two days, there should be an official announcement about the scheduled release.”

They had done their best, managing to delay the broadcast schedule from three months ago until now, which was already quite an achievement.

Jane Sampson nodded, satisfied.

”Alright, if we can’t wait for the TV drama to finish, our movie should be almost ready to release,” Jane Sampson said. ”I guess the TV drama crew over there must be furious. If they stuck to their original plan, by now their web drama would be nearing its end, right?”

Broadcasting four episodes a week, for over three months, it would indeed be close to the finale.

And no matter how smoothly and quickly the movie was shot, it couldn’t possibly be released this fast.

But now it’s different.

In half a month, when the web drama starts broadcasting, at a speed of four episodes a week, as long as everything goes smoothly for the movie crew and it’s released as planned, it could be released before the web drama’s finale.

When both are showing at the same time, they would make for a great comparison, and as long as the movie’s box office isn’t low, the web drama over there would probably just cool off completely.

Even if they continue, they would just be performing a joke for others to watch.

If no one watches, now that would be interesting.

After saying all this, Jane Sampson smiled, raised her hand to turn on the light inside the car, and turned her head to look at James Black’s face.

She looked left and right, then reached out to turn his face over to take a closer look.

For a while, she suddenly blurted out, ”Indeed, once you start acting, you get tanned a lot.”

”Hmm.” James Black responded in a deep voice, ”The place I went to has stronger ultraviolet light.”

James Black, being a big man, naturally didn’t care about these things.

However, it reminded him of last year when he returned from outdoor drills.

When he entered the house, Jane Sampson mistook him for a delivery person and failed to recognize him as her own husband.

Thinking of this, James Black curved the corner of his mouth and chuckled.

But today, as he stood at the doorway, Jane Sampson recognized him from afar. She waved to him and ran all the way towards him.

Last year, he wasn’t in her heart, so even face-to-face, she couldn’t recognize the tanned him.
