CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 867: Chapter 875 When to Get Married

”A few months ago, I was injured while filming in Northland and went to the hospital. Jasmine Seven was with me, and then she called President Forest. Thanks to him, the situation was handled well,” Jane Sampson answered honestly.

”So, you’ve known each other for several months,” Old Madam Forest said, nodding her head after speaking.

Just as Jane Sampson was about to agree, she suddenly heard Old Madam Forest ask, ”When do you plan to get married? You’ve known each other for a few months now. You can get married.”

Jane Sampson almost choked on her own saliva.

”What?” Jane Sampson raised her voice.

Seeing Jane Sampson’s reaction, Old Madam Forest pushed a glass of water towards her and continued, ”Marry within three months, or register within one month, and you’ll be rewarded with a villa in Capital Province and ten million. If you have a child within two years after marriage, you’ll receive 3% of Forest Clan shares, plus three houses, with the locations of your choice. Whenever you have a second child, you’ll get an additional 5% of the Forest Clan shares and five more houses and five shops, locations also your choice.”

!!!

???

From being utterly baffled initially, Jane Sampson’s expression turned to outright horror.

Did Grandma Forest really believe the news on Twitter that she was Kane Forest’s girlfriend?

Did Grandma Forest come here alone, with several bodyguards, just to say all this?

Marriage pressure!

Capitalized marriage pressure!

This is completely different from how a noble lady of a wealthy family meets her grandson’s girlfriend in private!

Isn’t it supposed to be, give a house and one million to leave my grandson?

”Grandma Forest,” Jane Sampson sipped some cool boiled water to calm her nerves, ”Grandma Forest, take a good look at me.”

”I saw enough on the way here,” Old Madam Forest responded, but still leaned in to take a closer look at Jane Sampson’s face, ”You’re quite beautiful. You seem likable to me. Despite my age, I’m open-minded. I have no prejudice against actors. Your performances are pretty good.”

”Grandma Forest, don’t you think my name sounds familiar? Or that my face looks familiar?” Jane Sampson almost reverted to her childhood habit of climbing trees to jog Grandma Forest’s memory.

”It does sound a bit familiar,” Grandma Forest nodded, ”Probably because I’ve seen you on TV pretty often.”

Jane Sampson, touching her forehead in resignation, moved closer to Grandma Forest with a helpless smile and said, ”Grandma Forest, I’m little Jane. When I was a child, we met two or three times when you visited the great courtyard.”

Grandma Forest’s expression softened slightly, she genuinely tried to recall, and then looked at Jane Sampson again, exclaimed, ”Now that you mention it, I do remember! Don’t you have a younger brother? What’s his name?”

”Bright Sampton,” Jane Sampson said.

”Yes, yes, that’s the name!” Grandma Forest slapped her thigh, ”Can’t believe it’s the child I met back then. That’s wonderful! I liked you a lot when you were small. I remember how clever and lively you were, loved by everyone in the great courtyard.”

At this, Grandma Forest was delighted, ”I didn’t expect my usually quiet big grandson to be so impressive, to find such an excellent wife for me. Little Jane, when are you and Kane Forest getting married?”

”Grandma Forest, I already got married,” Jane Sampson was also caught between laughter and tears by Grandma Forest’s question, ”You know my husband too, James Black. We’ve been married for several years now.”

Upon hearing this, Grandma Forest’s happy expression suddenly changed.

”I knew it! I knew it! A good girl like you would have been taken home early. How could it be Kane’s turn!” Grandma Forest really looked frustrated as she stamped her foot.
