CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 545: Chapter 553: I’m Here

”Not too bad,” Jane Sampson pondered and then added, ”Maybe it’s because I usually exercise, so I don’t react as strongly as you all. Do you not normally do any exercise?”

”We’re busy with work every day, where’s the time to exercise? When we do have time, all I want to do is get some good rest and sleep a bit more.” Hibiscus Wood sighed. She and Jane were different; Hibiscus was in a rising period, not daring to relax for even a moment, while Jane, being a newcomer, certainly didn’t have as complicated work, so she had time to exercise.

”I don’t even know what training we’ll have to do again today.” Mair Williams finished speaking and then moaned, clanging back down to slowly change her clothes.

Jane looked on at the three girls with a pained expression. So, if James Black hadn’t massaged her for such a long time last night, she would probably be in the same state as these three girls, right?

Thinking about it, Jane felt that although James often seemed to want to annoy her to death, occasionally he could be quite considerate.

Forget it, then. She wouldn’t stay mad at the dude for not lending her his lunchbox.

In light of the massage he gave her, she, the big girl, would be magnanimous and not stoop to the level of an old rascal!

Jane dawdled with the three until they absolutely had to leave for the dining hall. Since they felt a bit uncomfortable, they didn’t have much of an appetite and only ate some porridge. They then all watched Jane alone devour two buns and two bowls of soy milk.

This made the other team members next to them exclaim once again in admiration.

Wow~ Our Goddess Sampson has such a good appetite!

Wow, Goddess Sampson isn’t picky at all!

Wow, watching Goddess Sampson eat makes me so hungry!

Wow, I want to have the same breakfast as Goddess Sampson!

The cameraman, who had clearly already had breakfast, couldn’t help but swallow his saliva as he watched, and then asked, ”Jane, don’t you feel full?”

”Not really? It’s just two buns, one with meat and one vegetarian, plus some soy milk. I’ll jump around for a bit and digest it. If I don’t eat a bit more, I’ll be hungry again before noon, and if I’m hungry, I won’t have the energy.” Since coming to the guard team, Jane had only one thought; it didn’t matter where her body ached, as long as she wasn’t hungry, she could withstand everything.

”That’s true.” The cameraman nodded in agreement with Jane’s words, then looked at the other three girls with a pained face.

After gathering, the black-face instructor looked at all eight people. The boys seemed to be fine, but among the girls, only Jane was as lively as when she first arrived yesterday morning.

The other three were droopy and half-dead.

However, that was the normal state the black-face instructor had expected for these three.

The black-face instructor was not one to mince words; he skipped the pleasantries and went straight to describing what they would learn that morning.

”This morning, I’m going to teach you the most basic self-defense techniques.” The black-face instructor said this and his gaze swept over the faces of the eight people below, ”Now, I need someone to help me demonstrate. Who will come?”

Almost immediately after his words landed, a crisp response came from below, ”Instructor, Sir! I’ll do it!”

The black-face instructor turned his gaze towards the person who spoke.

It was actually Jane Sampson.

His intention was to pick a boy to demonstrate with, but none of the four boys had responded yet, only Jane had answered the quickest and most decisively.

The black-face instructor thought for a moment and then nodded, ”Jane Sampson, step forward!”
