CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 294: Chapter 302: It’s Best Not to Move

James Black thought, perhaps, just as Jane Sampson said, he didn’t know when it started, but he had become enchanted by kissing her.

He had thought about restraint, so he took two steps back in time.

But her gaze, a sentence spoken with a touch of petulance, still shattered the self-control he took pride in, crumbling into nothing. Kiss her, kiss her, kiss her.

That was what every cell in James Black’s body was clamoring at that moment.

And now, as he kissed her, James Black could feel his greedy ambition, he began to want more, no longer satisfied with just kisses.

He wanted to meld her into his body, into his very blood and bone.

Jane Sampson was startled by James Black’s kiss; his breath on her neck was scorching and rapid.

He held her tightly against him, pressing, and she could feel the hand on her lower back gripping tighter.

Although Jane had infrequent interactions with James, she was not naive, so she understood what his reaction meant and what the emotions stirring in his eyes meant.

In Jane’s heart, James had always appeared distant and cold; this was the first time she felt so clearly his suppressed and restrained emotions.

His emotions made Jane feel somehow intimidated in his arms; she tried to struggle gently, but to her surprise, it only made his kissing more ferocious.

”Jane Sampson, right now, it’s best if you don’t move,” James Black’s breath was very heavy, his voice hoarse and harsh.

After ending the kiss, he still held Jane tightly in his arms, pressing her face against his chest.

He was restraining himself.

And trying hard to distract his thoughts.

Jane Sampson felt a bit out of breath in James Black’s embrace, but she did not dare move anymore, only mumbling, ”Brute.”

If you listen carefully to that sentence, it was saturated with Jane’s shyness.

”Heh,” he who was scolded just chuckled indifferently, ”You’re almost naked, if I didn’t have any reaction at this time, you would probably curse me in your heart for being less than a brute.”

”You are a brute, my hand is injured!” Jane Sampson gently moved her right hand to remind James Black.

”That’s why you’re not on the bed now, but still in my arms,” James Black lowered his head and placed a kiss on Jane’s forehead.

James had intended to hold Jane to quench his desire, but as it turned out, even doing nothing—just holding her and talking—was like fanning the flames in his heart, growing hotter and hotter.

”First, let me dress you,” James forced himself to calm down and then helped Jane put on her dress. While she scurried to the dressing table to attend to her face, James Black went straight into the restroom and splashed water on his face.

Since her right hand was practically useless, Jane didn’t bother with her face, just applied basic skincare products and then applied lipstick. When she finished and went to look for James Black, she found him on the balcony.

Yes, he was smoking on the balcony.

Jane thought, yesterday he was agitated, so he smoked on the balcony.

So, today, he must be smoking on the balcony to calm down.

”All set?” As soon as Jane pushed the door to come in, James quickly extinguished the cigarette, then took her hand and led her back to the living room, also closing the sliding door to the balcony to keep the smell of smoke outside.
