Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2225: Chapter 2219: Go Where the Opportunities Are

”Shulan, the kid is right; it’s something I didn’t consider. Let’s take it out and have another look, only pack what’s essential and what Qin Xue can use. We can send the rest later, so the kids will have an easier time.” Initially, Qin Lei didn’t think about this and went a bit overboard with packing, but now he finds reason in the children’s words.

”Alright then, handle it yourself. I’ll go make food for you all.” Nangong Shulan decided not to interfere; let them pack however they want. She’s more concerned about managing the family’s livelihood.

”Dad, it’s fine, everything is packed, let’s just take what we have. Whatever’s not packed, we won’t take.” Qin Yu didn’t let his father start all over again. What was packed was manageable to carry; otherwise, he wouldn’t wait until his father packed everything to suggest not to pack anymore. Besides, his father was just being considerate toward his sister, wanting to bring her some food, and there was no need to counter his father’s intentions.

”Alright, I’ll take you to the train station tomorrow. Call a taxi to your sister’s place when you arrive; I’ll give you the money.” Qin Lei thought it would be better to see them off himself.

”No need for you to give me money, Dad. I have money. But you and Mom should go over to the shop early; I wouldn’t feel at ease leaving it to someone else.” Qin Yu had previously spent some time teaching his father, so after he left, he had his parents take over the shop.

Initially, his parents were reluctant to go, but after he spent considerable effort convincing them, Qin Lei stopped objecting after the time spent there, and he talked his mother into it. The shop here was left to Cheng Kunmin and a few others to manage, while they went personally to manage the liquor shop in S Province.

Why did Qin Lei change his mind in such a short time? It was because he discovered that the profits from that shop were much higher than their breakfast shop’s, so after discussing with his wife, they finally decided to go to S Province to manage that shop.

The elderly at home were left to elder brother Qin Chaoyang.

Originally, the elderly were living with them, so they only needed to provide for their retirement. As for the livestock at home, they took whatever could be taken, and what couldn’t was given to Qin Chaoyang and his family as a form of compensation for looking after their house.

Regarding the retirement money for the elderly, they had already provided it separately, and the elderly didn’t object to their travel plans, because they knew they were getting older and shouldn’t hold back their children from spreading their wings.

In their hearts, naturally, they believed that letting the children go wherever is beneficial is the best outcome for their future.

Both Qin Lei and Nangong Shulan were grateful to the elderly; their open-mindedness allowed them to live comfortably without much pressure. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have been able to travel so far.

In all of Qin’s village, which parents could be as considerate as the Qins’ elderly? They were born into the Qin family, having such parents is a blessing for a lifetime, and they should cherish it.

This is why Qin Lei was touched when he found no opposition from his parents, encouraging them to do what they wanted.

This was also the reason why Qin Lei wanted the children to take a bit more, because once they’re not home, it would be hard to get these things again.

So now, whenever possible, take a bit more. They knew it too.

Qin Yu was going there to study, while Qin Jiale was visiting her sister. If no one picks her up, Qin Lei will personally go get her, as they initially agreed.
