Be Gentle, My Master

Mu Xiaoyao arranged the tasks for the student who was selected to start.

“Everyone else should adopt man-to-man defense during defense.

Once someone breaks through, pay attention to helping out.”

“I and Dongfang Ji will assist with defense often.

As long as our defense is sorted out, there’s no problem with our offense.”

Mu Xiaoyao explained tactics to everyone with calmness, and seeing his serious demeanor, the girls were all mesmerized.

A man who is serious is truly irresistible, especially since he was very, very handsome to begin with.

Baili Xia was also somewhat surprised.

This brother who was always so icy, today he really spoke a lot.

It seemed he had said more in this moment than he had in a whole week.

After a brief arrangement, indeed, as soon as they were back in the game, the tactics of class one in design immediately took effect.

Dongfang Ji advanced with the ball to the frontcourt, brilliantly broke through to the basket, and passed the ball to Mu Xiaoyao, who took the shot, and hit a three-pointer.

The opponent made an attack, and the guard that Mu Xiaoyao was defending hadn’t even reached half-court when a mistake occurred, and Dongfang Ji, who was supporting in defense, intercepted the ball, leading to a fast-break dunk.

The score reached 19:18.

Seeing this momentum, the opponents were extremely nervous!

They quickly transitioned from the backcourt, not waiting for Dongfang Ji and Mu Xiaoyao to start pressuring in the frontcourt, they passed the ball several times, and it reached the backcourt.

The three people defending in the backcourt closely followed their marks without leaving any space.

The opponents didn’t even have the chance to turn around, and ultimately, through everyone’s concerted effort, the opponents knocked the ball out of bounds, and the possession returned to class one in design.

The opposing team also had their scoring experts, so not every play could be defended successfully, and as a result, the match began to get tense.

Dongfang Ji and Mu Xiaoyao were on the court the whole time, not resting for a single minute.

But when Li Dacheng and Chen Ming were both substituted off the court, the two experts playing with three rookies was incredibly exhausting.

The score alternated rising, and at the end of the game, the score was 88:86, with class one in design trailing by two points.

Only two seconds were left, and the opponents had the ball.

Mu Xiaoyao called a timeout to arrange the last tactic.

Once the players returned to the court, all the players stood in the frontcourt, each guarding their mark.

Mu Xiaoyao defended the inbounder, and for a moment, the opposing players couldn’t even make the inbound pass.

As it was about to become a violation for failing to inbound the ball, in desperation, the player had to hastily throw the ball to his own guard.

The opposing guard was the team’s top player, and Dongfang Ji was marking him.

As he saw the ball coming his way, Dongfang Ji faced him, blocking the path between him and the ball, leaving him no chance to touch the ball.

He thought for a second, even if he couldn’t catch it, he would at least run down the clock.

He took a step forward and charged at Dongfang Ji.

If he could just bump into Dongfang Ji, the two seconds would quickly pass by.

However, dreams are often shattered by reality.

Just when he thought he was going to succeed, a shadow suddenly appeared in the direction of the ball, and a large hand reached out, pulling the ball back in.

It was Mu Xiaoyao!

He had followed the trajectory from where the ball was in-bounded and caught up to it, snatching the ball back!

What incredible speed!

Mu Xiaoyao then retreated a couple of steps beyond the three-point line after the steal, jumped, and shot.

Time seemed to freeze at that second, and as the final buzzer sounded, both the player and the ball hung in the air.

The entire world came to a complete standstill…
