Prodigal System in the Flourishing City

Chapter 775: Chapter 773: Made a Move [1st Update]

”Lu Xiaobu was unaware of Lin Feng’s thoughts. After they had their fill, they left the restaurant.

Three days passed after returning home.

Suddenly, a torrent of advertisements flooded both online and offline.

’United Payments announces partnership with Happy Homes, all customers using United Payments at Happy Homes will enjoy random discounts!’

’United Payments, ushering in the era of payments’

’Alipay is about to face its greatest enemy’

’...’

Meanwhile, Liang Lan received news.

’Young Master, Black Rose has made her move!’

Liang Lan’s expression turned grave; Black Rose indeed lived up to her name!

Her angle of attack was incredibly cunning!

’Oh? Which sector did she target?’

Lu Xiaobu raised his eyebrows.

’Mobile payments!’

Liang Lan’s voice grew more solemn.

’Well done!’

After hearing the news, Lu Xiaobu’s eyes narrowed, ’This Black Rose really isn’t playing around. She’s striking with impressive precision!’

I’ve mentioned before that the future belongs to mobile payments, a fact you all are aware of.

But in the current era, few people really grasp the concept of mobile payments.

After all, eighty percent of Lu Xiaobu’s mobile payments are still used for online shopping and haven’t scaled up!

This is exactly the time gap Lu Xiaobu wanted to capitalize on, stealthily infiltrating people’s lives when they aren’t paying attention, making them form habits and dependencies!

However, Black Rose has now recognized this and taken direct action against mobile payments.

’Details, please.’

Lu Xiaobu asked aloud.

’She’s not targeting internet shopping, but the retail channels,’ Liang Lan explained. ’The company she now controls was established with joint capital from twenty-one tycoons from the Second Level Rich List, plus her previous connections from commercial retail battles. These factors together have accelerated her promotional efforts significantly.’

The twenty-one tycoons from the Second Level Rich List cover a wide range of industries; putting pressure on retailers is quite straightforward for them.

While speaking, Liang Lan opened an image online.

The target location: a supermarket in Imperial.

At the supermarket entrance, there was a banner—’Use United Payments, save effort, save time, save money!’

Clearly, this United Payments was the payment software introduced by Black Rose.

’That’s quite a cunning angle.’ Lu Xiaobu’s lips curled into a smile: ’Can’t compete with me online? Then try to compete offline.’

’Young Master, what should we do?’

Liang Lan asked.

’What to do? Take her on,’ Lu Xiaobu chuckled. ’This is a big money-burning business, and I love it!’

It had been a long time since he had encountered such an extravagant squandering opportunity.

Since they’ve provided the battlefield, not accepting the challenge would not be Lu Xiaobu’s style!

’Yes, Young Master!’

Liang Lan nodded, then expressed her concern, ’Young Master, if we confront her head-on, we might suffer heavy losses!’

’Don’t worry.’ Lu Xiaobu’s lips curved in a faint smile: ’Notify Zhi Cheng IT, officially activate the QR code plan. Once tested, be ready at any moment!’

’Yes, Young Master,’ Liang Lan replied.

After speaking, Lu Xiaobu hummed a tune and leisurely went off to play video games.

The era of mobile payments had just begun to sprout, with its most widespread use still in online shopping.”

Therefore, the current payment method still mainly involves account transfers.

This has caused the QR codes, which modern people are familiar with, to have no significant role, and they are temporarily shelved by Lu Xiaobu.

However, now that Black Rose wants to start, then bring it on!

My big... ahem, my big knife is already hungry and thirsty!

...

At the same time, the newly established company, under the order of Xue Lin, was renamed — the headquarters building of the Black Rose Company.

Xue Lin stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window.

Her secretary, an absolute beauty scoring over 85 points — Tian Jie, was meticulously reporting: ”President Xue, Alipay has responded to the challenge, using Shimen as their base and spreading out to the surrounding areas.”

”Oh?”

Xue Lin’s mouth curled into a beautiful arc: ”It seems that this Lu Xiaobu really is a straw bag! Dare to compete with me in the arena? I bet Liang Lan is furious!”

Speaking of Liang Lan, her lips curled into a wicked smile: ”I really want to see the angry look on my Lanlan’s face.”

The lascivious look on Xue Lin’s face made Tian Jie shiver uncontrollably beside her.
