Chapter 292: Chapter 291: The Blindly Hopping Health Supplements Went Crazy [Third update, 21,000 recommendation votes for more]

After two days.

The advertisement bombardment continued, and as the Chinese New Year approached, people started preparing for the New Year celebrations, collecting their bonuses, and buying New Year goods.

Except for the Brain Black Gold Company.

They had completely given up hope for this year’s bonus.

They were even ready to resign!

Wu Yuanren was still getting dead drunk at the company every day.

Today, as he tipped the bottle and found no liquor left, he staggered to his feet.

”Dad, what’s wrong?”

Wu Qianmin hurried to support him.

”Going downstairs to buy some.”

Wu Yuanren slurred his words.

”Dad, stop drinking. If you keep this up, you’ll really damage your health,” Wu Qianmin couldn’t help but urge.

”If the sales go up, I’ll stop drinking,”

Wu Yuanren declared stubbornly.

”Alright, alright.”

Wu Qianmin, feeling helpless, could only support her dad as they headed downstairs.

Silently she harbored a hope, Xiaobu oh Xiaobu, if it’s truly possible, work your magic quickly.

There was a large supermarket not far from the company.

Wu Yuanren, who knew the way all too well, walked to the liquor section to pick out some bottles.

After buying the liquor, he thought for a moment and still went to check on their own product shelves out of habit.

Even though it was painful, he still wanted to take a glance.

He expected it to be the same as before, with no one showing any interest.

However...

He saw a group of young people, seven or eight in total, standing there, flipping through products.

”This is that Brain Black Gold from the ads, right? The packaging is pretty good.”

”I’ve seen the ad too. It’s all over the internet, quite popular. I’ll buy two boxes to give to my parents.”

”Is it effective?”

”It should be. I read an article online saying there’s something very important in the brain that needs to be replenished, related to aging, memory, and stuff.”

”Well, then I’ll also take two boxes.”

”Why is it so expensive?”

”Quality goods are naturally expensive, it’s only once a year after all, I’ll buy it.”

”Forget it, I’ll bite the bullet and buy it. You’re right, we only celebrate New Year once a year, it doesn’t hurt to spend more on gifts for the elders.”

”I find myself being silly too; every time I see health supplements, every time I see Brain Black Gold, I can’t help but think of that old man and old lady hopping around like crazy! I feel possessed! I’ll buy two boxes!”

”Right, to avoid the hassle!”

After the group left, the shelf suddenly had over a dozen boxes of Brain Black Gold missing.

Not far off, other people were also asking supermarket staff for help.

”Sister, do you have Brain Black Gold? It’s that health supplement with the old man and lady jumping around like crazy!”

”Yes, the jumping ones are over there.”

”Thank you.”

”That crazy jumping Brain Black Gold is selling fast. It’s almost sold out this afternoon. If you want to buy, do it quick. They’ll probably be out of stock by tonight. It’s great for the New Year’s gift for elders, it’s a presentable product with health benefits.”

”Alright then, I’ll quickly grab a few boxes!”

”Do I get a discount if I buy several boxes? My mom heard the neighbors mentioning it and also saw some articles online. She specified that this year for the New Year, she doesn’t want anything else but this Brain Black Gold.”

”Yo, there’s no discount for that at the moment.”

”Well, even without the discount, I still have to buy it. Sigh, when the elderly speak.”

”...”

”Holy shit!”

Wu Yuanren suddenly shook his bewildered head, passed the bottle of liquor to Wu Qianmin, and dashed to the restroom. He doused his head with cold water for a long while, forcing himself to calm down.

Then, taking deep breaths, and with immense trepidation, he returned to the side of the shelf, closed his eyes tight, and then barely opened a crack, stealing a glance.

And then!

”Good heavens! Hahaha!”

Wu Yuanren jumped and bounced around like a child!

What he just saw turned out to be true!

There were only a dozen or so boxes of Brain Black Gold left on the shelf, with the remaining ninety percent conspicuously emptied, clearly all purchased.

When had his Brain Black Gold ever seen such a turn of events!?

Only a dozen or so left?

In the past, they were lucky to sell just a dozen or so boxes!

Wu Qianmin, holding a liquor bottle at the side, wore a stunned expression as well.

Is it really this crazy?
