The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 795: Chapter 795: A Dance of the Sky Demon, Captivating All Men’s Souls_1

”One Thousand Spirit Stones, just for the entrance fee?”

Carson Flores watched the layers of rooms ahead, silently calculating. He exclaimed in astonishment, ”Then its daily income must be in the millions, or even several million Spirit Stones?”

Marcellus Foster explained, ”The One Thousand Spirit Stones include the cost to watch the dance in the hall, which comes with a snack and wine package that allows guests to drink and watch the dance. But if you want to add more drinks and food, or if you want to go into a private room or call for women, those costs are calculated separately.”

Carson hummed in acknowledgment and casually asked, ”The women here, do they sleep with the guests?”

”Apart from the very few pure maidens of the Huayue Sect, the rest do—it includes accompanying with drinks and sleep.”

Marcellus Foster excitedly explained to Carson, ”Pure maidens are women of talent who only sell their skills and not their bodies. Of course, if you have the ability to make her willing to stay with you overnight, that’s your skill.”

Carson hummed in understanding. Wasn’t this just like the Oiran system from ancient Green Buildings?

Each Oiran was exceptionally talented, and to be admitted as their patron, either you drown them in money or you use your talents and looks to make them willingly concede.

While they were talking, the two entered the main hall, in front of which was a stage, obviously for dance performances.

Below the stage, tables were neatly scattered, able to accommodate hundreds of people. On the second floor, there were many partitioned yet not completely enclosed rooms, with tables near the railings allowing guests to drink while enjoying the performance.

”Gentlemen, main hall on the first floor, private rooms on the second floor, or the VIP rooms?”

”VIP rooms...”

Before Marcellus Foster could finish speaking, Carson pulled him and smiled, ”Let’s just stay in the hall. We’re just looking for a place to drink, after all.”

Drinking in the hall was reasonable, but calling beauties for drinks in a private room would definitely get him in trouble with his senior sister!

Marcellus Foster was about to speak when Carson insisted, ”The hall, or I’m leaving.”

Feeling helpless, Marcellus Foster relented, ”Then... let’s take a private room with a good view on the second floor... Carson, the hall is noisy with many people who just come for a small drink and watch the show. It wouldn’t be appropriate for us to feast there. It’s more convenient to eat and drink on the second floor, and the view of the performance is clearer.”

Carson didn’t refuse again.

A private room it is then, as long as there are no beauties accompanying the drinks.

Since it was still early, the two were among the first guests and took their seats on the second floor directly opposite the performance stage, which was considered one of the best spots.

Marcellus Foster was quite generous. He ordered a table full of expensive food and drinks. Carson estimated that this spread would cost at least five thousand Spirit Stones. Luckily they hadn’t called for female company, otherwise, it could have easily been twenty thousand Spirit Stones.

As night fell, various stunning lamps lit up inside the house, and elegant, soothing music began to play softly. The hall was as bright as day but with added layers of hazy, intimate ambiance.

More and more guests arrived, and the atmosphere grew livelier. On the stage, dancers from the Huayue Sect began to perform various dances in succession.

After watching a couple of dances, Carson chuckled, ”It doesn’t seem as impressive as you described.”

Marcellus Foster smiled, ”These are just low-level dancers from the Huayue Sect, there to liven up the atmosphere. They don’t know the first thing about the Sky Demon Dance. Even within the Huayue Sect, not many are proficient in it. The most skilled is the current Saintess Lainey Dragon of the Huayue Sect. Her Sky Demon Dance can enchant men’s souls to no end. It’s said that she is here on the Moving Giant Ship, but we don’t know if we’ll be lucky enough to see her perform.”

Carson chuckled, ”Being a Saintess, I doubt us hall patrons will get to see her.”
