Chapter 498: Chapter 498: I Can Kill Him in at Most Three Moves_1

In the wilderness, Shane Fox looked down at Wallace James’ corpse, gazed at it for a long while, then lifted his head to observe the ravine that had been forcibly cleaved through the forest and the tree trunks that had been shattered.

”Did Wallace James chase after Carson Flores when he left?”

A member of the Five Dragon Sect answered, ”Yes, he told us he was going out for a walk, but he never came back, and we couldn’t contact him. After checking the surveillance, we found out he left the camp one after the other chasing after Carson Flores. Before leaving the camp, Carson Flores even made a deliberate detour around the outside of our camp. We suspect it was intentional.”

Shane Fox sighed, ”Wallace James fell for it.”

Shane Fox crouched down and carefully examined the scene, ”All the signs of combat here come from a single person. Wallace James even used the Blood Burning Technique before he died, but he still couldn’t withstand the opponent, and was worn down to death blow by blow. This trace was left in that way.”

The disciple asked, ”A single person? That could only be an Innate Grandmaster, then. Does this mean it was a trap set by Carson Flores?”

Shane Fox nodded, ”Wallace James was very strong, and with the use of the Blood Burning Technique, his combat power was even greater. The fact that the other party could wear him down bit by bit until he died indicates that the opponent can only be an Innate Grandmaster. The opponent has the ability to kill Wallace James directly but chose to exhaust him to death; this was playing with him, perhaps also to extract some information about the Five Dragon Sect from him.”

The disciple frowned, ”Carson Flores is really insidious!”

Shane Fox smiled, ”Carson Flores has only become a Great Grandmaster recently; his strength couldn’t be that high. He definitely wouldn’t be a match for Wallace James. He lingered around the camp for a while before leaving; it’s very likely that by that time, he had already laid out the killing scheme. If Wallace James followed him, he would fall into his trap.”

”When one’s strength is inferior, and one cannot directly confront the opponent, one naturally resorts to tricks and schemes. Even though Carson Flores is now a Great Grandmaster, facing either the Vasquez Family or the Five Dragon Sect, he doesn’t have such capital, so he can only strike from the shadows. However, Carson Flores’s sudden move is like declaring war on us.”

The disciple’s eyes widened, ”Declaring war? This young man is too arrogant. Should we issue the Five Dragon Order and put a warrant out for this kid?”

Shane Fox shook his head, ”No need. This is a personal grievance, unrelated to the Sect. I asked Wallace James for help based on my personal relationship, and moreover, if the Sect Master truly wanted to kill him now, he would find it utterly uninteresting. That’s why he let me take action instead of doing it himself. Do you think the Sect Master, taking action himself, couldn’t kill a Carson Flores?”

The disciple shook his head quickly, ”Of course not. The Sect Master is so powerful, if he really wanted to kill someone, even an Innate Grandmaster would probably not be able to escape, let alone a junior newcomer like Carson Flores, who just entered the Great Grandmaster level...”

Shane Fox nodded, ”Alright, take care of Wallace James’ body. He was really unlucky, barely escaping with his life from the underground world, only to be ensnared and killed by Carson Flores.”

The disciple probed, ”And what about Carson Flores?”

Shane Fox said indifferently, ”Carson Flores, I will kill him personally. No matter how many Innate Grandmasters he finds to take action for him, in the end, he is just a newcomer who has entered the Great Grandmaster realm less than three months ago. How strong can he be? Killing him should take no more than three moves, ten seconds at most!”

...

Carson Flores sat in a chair, spreading his hands out before him.

Without a sound, a sheathed longsword appeared in his hands.

The Three Provinces Sword.

Carson Flores gently removed the sharkskin scabbard, the sword gleaming like still water. With a casual flick, the blade’s light seemed to come to life, swirling effortlessly.

Carson Flores slightly opened his hand, and the sword disappeared from his grasp. When he stretched out his hand again, the sword reappeared.

Carson Flores was excited, this move, if well executed, could be a super powerful trump card.
