Among the other four skills, Gu Xi was hesitating between Ice Ripple and Death Magic Pool.

One is attack plus control, the other is on-site magic refilling.

Both skills hold great significance for Gu Xi.

Gu Xi indeed wanted to choose both, but it was obviously impossible.

After comparing, Gu Xi finally chose Ice Ripple as his new skill.

Having chosen his skill, Gu Xi then decided on his clone.

Last time at Level 5 in the Mysterious Academy, Gu Xi acquired a Mysterious Clone, allowing him to master Fitness Skill.

This time it’s the same, he can choose between Pathfinding Skill and Painting Skill.

Between these two skills, Gu Xi naturally chose Pathfinding Skill, as he’d never even heard of Painting Skill, and he’s not planning to become a painter anytime soon.

With Gu Xi’s decision, a ”ding” sound echoed in his ears.

[Mysterious Clone (Pathfinding Skill): A power reward from the Mysterious Academy, based on Pathfinding Skill, it can be divided into Attachment Status, Switch Status, and Consumption Status.]

[Attachment Status: The clone attaches to the body, the body masters Level 1 Pathfinding Skill, agility increased by 2 points, perception increased by 2 points, ensuring not getting lost.]

[Switch Status: Switch to external use of the clone, the clone masters Level 3 Pathfinding Skill, agility increased by 12 points, perception increased by 12 points, ensuring not getting lost.]

[Consumption Status: Sacrifice the clone, using it as a consumable, Pathfinding Skill raised to Level 5, agility increased to 24 points, perception increased to 24 points, mana increased by 640 points, after battle, the clone disappears, unable to use again.]

Like the situation with the Fitness Skill clone, both increase two attributes; though Fitness Skill boosts power and physical strength, while Pathfinding Skill boosts agility and perception.

But thinking it through, Gu Xi can understand.

Pathfinding Skill needs strong perception to judge whether the direction is correct.

Agility is needed to hasten one’s movement.

Strengthening these two is normal.

For Gu Xi, this is actually a good thing.

After all, his agility and perception are the lowest among all his attributes.

It’s not that he hasn’t thought about improving them, but Gu Xi knows very well what his profession is.

Agility and perception are traits that need enhancement for professions like Hunters and Assassins, but he hasn’t specialized in this path.

So even though Gu Xi knows where his shortcomings are, he has no time to deal with them.

Now the appearance of the Mysterious Clone directly compensates for all of this.

Not to mention, just the attachment status can boost agility and perception by 2 points.

If Gu Xi faces some pressure, switching to the clone would directly increase agility and perception by more than 12 points.

This is quite impressive, Gu Xi might even try his hand with a bow and arrow.

Put other things aside, at least Gu Xi can manage tasks like shooting accurately.

Looking down at the Illusion Magic Wand in his hand, it seems he plays the role of a British Longbowman remarkably well.

As Gu Xi was selecting skills, the Demon Dragon from the lake bottom also poked out its head.

This Demon Dragon hesitated while looking at Gu Xi, eventually heading towards the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon at the Steel City Gate.

At this time, the influence of the White Bone Obelisk hasn’t passed, the Steel City Gate remains sealed.

Yet the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon is able to move; as the Demon Dragon approached, it greeted the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon.

The Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon glanced at the Demon Dragon and, confirming no hostile intent, paid no further attention.

The Demon Dragon’s actions were in Gu Xi’s sight too, he was curious about what this Demon Dragon intended to do.

So Gu Xi, who initially planned to leave promptly, now lingered a bit longer.

What happened next did surprise Gu Xi somewhat.

He hadn’t expected the Demon Dragon to be so courteous.

After interacting briefly with the Earth-bound Deceitful Dragon, it returned to the depths of the lake.

Then from the lake’s surface came a series of blowing and banging sounds.

Gu Xi had heard this type of music before in Li Yufang’s wedding procession, but this was evidently not the same tune.
