The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

After finishing a grand fruit feast, Xiangxiang appeared right on time, holding a small notebook and recording: ”You two, eating fruit in the hall, fine, penalty task, deduction at the end of the month, please complete the task by the end of the month.”

”Sister Xiangxiang!”

Even before Little Taotie could continue, Xiangxiang slipped away.

Little Taotie: ”...”

Suddenly the sugared tangerine didn’t taste sweet anymore!

It was astringent! Bitter!

Little Taotie looked mournfully at Hua Jinyan: ”It’s over.”

”Blame me, blame me. It was me who fed you.”

Little Taotie sighed: ”It’s not your fault, you offered it, I could have refused, it’s my own greed. What do we do now? We have to complete the penalty task, and we don’t even know what it is.”

Xiangxiang appeared once more on time: ”Here’s the task list, two tasks, you can complete them together or each finish one.”

”Sister Xiangxiang!”

Xiangxiang slipped away again.

Little Taotie: ”...”

Looking at Xiangxiang’s departing figure, discovered there were wheels on her feet.

She really did slip away!

She was wearing roller skates!

Little Taotie: ”No wonder I couldn’t catch her.”

Hua Jinyan found it amusing, shook his head, eyes landing on the task list.

Two tasks, one is to help a Wandering Spirit find home, the other is to disguise and participate in a game tournament; someone reported illegal items being sold at the tournament.

Apparently, the first task was prepared for Little Taotie, the second for Hua Jinyan.

Little Taotie pointed at the second task saying: ”I’ll play the game.”

Hua Jinyan: ”... you don’t usually play games, are you sure you can reach the finals?”

In such a tournament, secrets are only likely to be uncovered at the finals.

Little Taotie patted her chest: ”Leave it to me, I guarantee I’ll finish the task.”

Hua Jinyan felt a bit helpless: ”Let’s do the tasks together, alright.”

Little Taotie frowned: ”Doesn’t that mean we have to do two tasks?”

Hua Jinyan sighed: ”The first task is a bit difficult, I’m afraid I can’t complete it by myself.”

Upon hearing Hua Jinyan seeking help, Little Taotie immediately straightened her back, with a cute tone: ”Don’t worry, I’ll definitely help you complete the task!”

”Alright then, it’s decided, we complete both tasks together.”

Little Taotie frowned tightly, paused, wanting to say she could complete the second task herself, really didn’t need Hua Jinyan to join, but afraid of hurting her friend’s self-esteem, worried he might think she deemed him as a burden. In the end, she swallowed the words, hesitantly nodding: ”...alright.”

Little Taotie, among familiar people, still wasn’t good at hiding expressions, what she was thinking inside mostly showed on her face. Hua Jinyan guessed what she was hesitating about, laughed: ”For the second task, participating requires a disguise. When the time comes, we’ll go to Teacher Lou to change our looks.”

Little Taotie’s little hands were itching to move: ”Actually, I’ve learned a bit about Bone Crushing...”

Hua Jinyan interrupted her: ”Can you restore it?”

Little Taotie: ”...haven’t learned that yet.”

Hua Jinyan: ”If you deform it and can’t restore, can you take responsibility?”

Little Taotie’s first reaction was to lose money, she immediately shook her head: ”Can’t take responsibility!”

Hua Jinyan: ”...”

”Let’s go to Teacher Lou to change looks, anyway the first task doesn’t say we can’t disguise. First, we’ll help the Wandering Spirit find his home, then sign up for the game tournament.” Little Taotie dragged Hua Jinyan’s hand, running to Lou Lan’s ”medical room.”

Lou Lan found it amusing when she heard they got penalized just for eating some fruit in the hall, but she couldn’t muster sympathy.

She tapped Little Taotie’s forehead: ”Remember next time, eat secretly.”
