The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

A burst of noise surrounded a fast-food restaurant crowded with people, while several media outlets were filming the registration.

This is a ”Giant” eating contest, and whoever becomes the ultimate Big Stomach King and wins the championship gets to be the fast-food chain’s spokesperson.

This fast-food chain has hundreds of locations nationwide, with over 10,000 branches abroad.

Last year, they reportedly hired a male star who won the Best Actor Award as their spokesperson, offering him 30 million M-gold as a fee.

Yuanyuan sighed, ”Guess we’ll have to let someone else have it.”

Little Taotie whispered, ”Can’t we win the championship?”

Yuanyuan shook her head, ”We shouldn’t stand out too much; we just need to take away the person possessed by the Hungry Ghost. No need to participate in the finals.”

The contest will simultaneously take place in hundreds of branches across the country, with each store’s champion gathering at the headquarters for the final showdown to determine the winner.

Yuanyuan’s point was clear: just go to any branch, defeat the unlucky person possessed by the Hungry Ghost, then take them away. It doesn’t matter whether they attend the finals.

Little Taotie looked at the second-place prize, a free card that allows unlimited eating in all branches worldwide for 99 years.

Little Taotie was somewhat tempted, ”What about second place?”

Yuanyuan shook her head, ”You can skip the finals, or pretend to lose and rank among the last few. Don’t aim for the top three. Once you’re in the spotlight, the media’s lenses will go crazy, and there are many paparazzi here. Being targeted by them would be troublesome.”

Though a bit disappointed, Little Taotie wasn’t very upset, rubbing his little hands, ”Then let’s register first! Even two free meals can be worthwhile!”

”So, are you planning to enter the finals?”

”I’ll deliberately lose, just there for a free meal.”

Since curbing his appetite, Little Taotie mainly relied on Evil Spirit Chocolate to fill his stomach. It’s been ages since he’s had a chance to eat his fill, so this seemed like a state-sponsored trip and an opportunity for unabashed feasting.

Yuanyuan went to the counter to register and paid the fee.

Upon learning there was a registration fee, Little Taotie glanced at the long queue of registrants and whispered, ”So this meal isn’t exactly free.”

Yuanyuan laughed, ”Businessmen never truly lose money. But for us, the registration fee is just a prepayment. Each store’s champion gets a prize, and though it’s not much, it’s many times the registration fee.”

Little Taotie grinned, ”That prize money is definitely mine!”

Yuanyuan glared, ”Are you going to snatch my prize money?”

”Absolutely! Na-na-na~~~”

If there weren’t so many people around, Yuanyuan would’ve liked to pinch this little rascal’s cheeks.

Registrants have a designated rest area to wait for the contest to start, with about two hours remaining before the first round begins.

The three of them entered the lounge, greeted by one big guy after another.

Even in the air-conditioned room, the big guys exuded a peculiar smell.

There were so many people, and each was a big guy who tended to sweat a lot. The air-conditioned room was enclosed, and the air quality was palpable.

As Yuanyuan stepped inside, she instinctively stepped back and retreated a step.

Little Taotie felt overwhelmed by the smell, his big eyes filled with grievance, stepping back repeatedly.

Noticing their reaction, Jiang Si decided not to enter either, clearing his throat and saying in the local language, ”Wow, it’s so crowded. I think I’ll go shopping instead. It’s two-hour wait, too long.”

Yuanyuan replied in fluent, standard language, ”I’ll go with you!”

Little Taotie quickly grabbed Jiang Si’s hand and dramatically said in a foreign language, ”Mom, I want to go too!”
