The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Capítulo 1523: Chapter 1523: Not an Idiot, Just Boy-Crazy

“I was there at the scene, I saw you being taken away.” A staff member sneered, “Stop denying it, quite a few police came to the hotel at that time.”

You were caught in the act in broad daylight. This staff member also went to check out the commotion and saw this man in black and the rich woman in a room, surrounded by a crowd, including the fuming husband of the rich woman.

Already caught in a hotel room, what is there to deny?

Even if you were framed, a person with a clear conscience wouldn’t need to worry. They wouldn’t go to meet this rich woman, wouldn’t fall into the trap.

The people present were smart, and with a colleague stepping up as a witness, they naturally chose to believe the trustworthy colleague.

“I didn’t do anything with that old woman! Stop looking at me with those dirty, suspicious eyes, you’re falsely accusing me!” The man in black suddenly roared in madness.

This roar startled the actress blocking his way in front, “What are you shouting for, whether you’re falsely accused or not has nothing to do with us! Who cares if you’re wrongly accused! What we’re questioning now is why you kept knocking on the door! If no one opens, you should leave, why keep banging non-stop!”

“So do you have some ulterior motive and insist on seeing Little Taotie?” The witnessing staff, convinced this man was no good, looked at him suspiciously and questioned coolly.

This remark sparked another round of discussion.

“Would ordinary people keep standing here knocking?”

“Of course not, after knocking for two minutes without a response, they’d think no one is inside and leave.”

“He kept knocking at the door, meaning he knew Little Taotie was inside, which is why he kept harassing.”

“It’s downright terrifying, a stranger who looks like a villain standing at the door knocking endlessly, no wonder a child inside would be scared!”

“Thank goodness Chen Zi was around, otherwise, Little Taotie would definitely be frightened.”

Someone looked at Chen Zi in confusion and asked, “Brother Chen, why didn’t you open the door?”

“I did open the door, when I saw some unfamiliar people and strangers visit, I immediately asked them to leave. Then I closed the door, but they didn’t leave and kept knocking, while Little Taotie was eating, I didn’t bother with them and let them knock.”

Upon hearing this, everyone turned their attention to the director.

Today is the weekend, to prevent obsessive fans from sneaking in, the entire crew was in a closed state, and anyone wanting to visit had to contact the person beforehand to gain permission.

Chen Zi’s words implied that these two were uninvited guests, neither contacting in advance nor gaining permission.

So the question arises, how did these two manage to get into the crew?

Could it be they were visiting someone else, passing by Little Taotie’s place, wanting to see him?

After all, this Popular Young Idol had collaborated with Little Taotie, they indeed know each other.

Facing the puzzled stares from everyone, the director, loyal to his role, also expressed confusion, his mind full of questions.

Immediately, the director asked, “Who let these two into the crew?”

Surely, a staff member had verified the phone call before bringing them in. So, which staff member brought them in?

Half the crew’s staff were present, and no one stood up, evidently, the person wasn’t among them.

The deputy director’s face was stern, “I’ll investigate.”

The director nodded.

He chose not to ask the Popular Young Idol and the man in black, doubting they would tell the truth, instead trusting the deputy director to investigate, confident in his capabilities.

The deputy director was indeed reliable, and within ten minutes, he had found the erring staff member and brought her over.

The girl was young, her eyes red, apparently having cried before coming.

“Explain, why did you let them in.” The director asked coldly.

Her voice was husky, “I thought they were well acquainted with Little Taotie, so I believed what they said.”

“Are you an idiot, believing whatever people say!” The director couldn’t believe such a fool was under him.

A staff member whispered, “I think she’s a fan of that Poplar Young Idol?”

The director, with sharp ears, heard this and suddenly understood.

This isn’t just foolish, it’s infatuation!
