The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Capítulo 1481: Chapter 1482: Not a Spoonful Too Much Sugar

“Hey, my dear big brother, what would you like to eat tonight?”

“Uh! You wouldn’t be…”

“Hehe, we really think alike, to celebrate your first day at work, I’m planning to cook personally!”

“No!”

I want to live a few more years!

“Hm?” Xiao Pingtou’s voice turned dangerous.

“Cough cough, well, washing vegetables hurts your hands, cooking damages your skin, it’s better to eat out. Since it’s your first day at work, big brother should treat!”

“Big bro, you’ve changed, first day at work and you’re already thinking of dining out, that’s not good!”

“Exception, exception, isn’t it the first day at work? We’re eating out today, it’s settled, I’ll pick a place and send it to you, I’ll hang up now, I’m busy!”

Xiao Chen hurriedly hung up the phone, afraid his troublesome sister wouldn’t give up and insisted on cooking herself.

Xiao Chen recalled that once upon a time, his sister cooked for the first time and threw the whole egg into the frying pan…

The second time she cooked, she threw the rock-hard frozen chicken from the fridge straight into the pan… the kitchen nearly exploded!

The third time she cooked, the steamer for the pumpkin boiled dry and the bottom of the pot had a big hole in it!

These scenes are hard to revisit!

Later, she finally managed to produce a somewhat decent plate of scrambled eggs, it looked okay, quite normal, golden yellow. With gratitude, he took a bite, almost got knocked out!

A strong taste of alcohol was one thing, but it was also incredibly sour and overpoweringly sweet.

A plate of scrambled eggs with alcohol taste, sourness, and sweetness, was indeed a challenge.

When asked why she made it taste like this, his sister answered seriously: “The wine is to remove the fishy smell, I saw people adding it in videos, I poured a bit, but my hand slipped and added too much. Anyway, since it’s added, can’t waste it, right?”

“And the sour taste? What’s with the sour taste?”

“Oh, oh, didn’t another video say that a bit of vinegar can remove the fishy smell and make the egg whites fluffier? So I added some vinegar, and then another video said lemon juice would be better, so I added a bit of lemon juice. Since the lemon was already cut open, couldn’t just squeeze a few drops and waste it, right? So I kept squeezing until no juice was left. Lemon provides vitamin C, it’s healthy, eat more of it!”

“Then… what about the sweetness? Why is there sweetness?”

“That’s all your fault, putting sugar and salt together, both jars look the same, no labels to indicate which is which. I just grabbed one, originally wanted to add salt, who knew it turned out to be sugar.”

“Even if you intended to add salt, you shouldn’t have added so much, right?”

“Oh, one spoonful, the recipe said to add one spoon of salt.”

“The spoon I keep in the sugar jar holds at least five or six grams, the spoon mentioned in the recipe is definitely a small spoon of one or two grams.”

“Can’t blame me, they didn’t specify, I followed the steps strictly step by step, one spoon means one spoon, I didn’t add two or three spoons.”

“I give up!”

Xiao Chen wiped his face, internally aged several years due to this irretrievable memory.

He began to worry, this tomboy sister, whose cooking skills could rival a crime scene, can she get married in the future?

Must earn money! Lots of money!

Have to prepare plenty of dowry for sister, can’t let her linger, must get her married!

By the way, the tall neighbor next door seems nice, maybe I can coax him into becoming my brother-in-law!

“Cough cough cough—” The tall neighbor boy choked on his water.

Xiao Pingtou slapped his back forcefully: “Bro, are you okay?”

“Cough cough cough—” The tall boy coughed more violently: “Stop slapping, even if I was fine, now I’m not!”
