The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Capítulo 1379: Chapter 1379: Little Plague God in the Kitchen

Little Taotie widened her beautiful big eyes in disbelief, her gaze full of accusation and dissatisfaction toward the chef, “You can’t be complacent just because nothing has happened yet, right? If something does happen, who will take responsibility? For you guys, it may just be a minor oversight with low probability, but for the victim, it’s a disaster like the sky is falling!”

Chef: “…” Are seven-year-olds really this sharp-tongued nowadays?

He actually had no words to refute!

Another chef with his own thoughts stepped forward, looking like the most amiable elder, smiling kindly, and tried to mediate the situation, “Little Boss, however you want us to handle it, just tell us directly. If you’re unhappy with the refrigerator, tell us how to change it, and we’ll do it without any objections!”

He gave a look to the speechless chef and the already stunned Head Chef, signaling them to agree and let the issue slide.

The chef and Head Chef quickly caught on and followed the other chef’s lead, “Yes, yes, yes, we’ll make changes wherever you feel dissatisfied.”

“Whatever the Little Boss instructs, we’ll do it.”

Seeing their humble attitude rather than arguing, Little Taotie’s dissatisfaction eased slightly.

The little one pointed at the eggs in the fridge, “If they aren’t edible raw, then put them in bags or sealed egg cartons.”

The three responded in unison: “Yes, yes, yes.”

Little Taotie then pointed to the meat and asked, “Don’t you see it’s dripping water? It’s all over the cabbage now!”

The Head Chef explained, “These meats were taken from the freezer to thaw in the fridge, so water drips down. But it’s okay, these cabbages will be washed, and they’re meant to be cooked with the meat anyway.”

“What do you mean it’s okay!” the little voice raised again in anger, Little Taotie huffed, “Before you wash and cook it, the melted blood is already absorbed into the plant’s veins!”

Head Chef: “…” Isn’t this kid being a bit exaggerated?

The chef who loved to argue now tightly pursed his lips. He could tell that this little girl could talk the hind leg off a mule, turning small issues into huge problems. She might do well in a debate competition when she grows up, but as for him, he decided to keep quiet.

The other chef stepped in again, still siding with Little Taotie, smiling, “Little Boss, you’re absolutely right. We’ll find containers to put these meats in right away!”

The Head Chef mumbled, “Putting them in containers is such a hassle, they might even stick together!”

Since he mumbled softly, Little Taotie didn’t bother with him. After all, although he complained with his words, he still obediently went to get containers.

Little Taotie instructed them to wrap each cabbage with clean large plastic bags.

The refrigerator was rejuvenated, with all the food stored in boxes, bowls, and bags.

Seeing lemons in the fridge, Little Taotie asked the Head Chef to cut the lemons open and place them in the fridge to absorb any odors. Before long, the unpleasant mixed smell was gone, replaced by a refreshing lemon fragrance.

Little Taotie was barely satisfied as she closed the fridge door, her gaze landing on the small steel bowls lined up on the long table.

The small steel bowls contained prepared ingredients like pre-soaked wood ear mushrooms, chopped green onions, ginger, cilantro, and some peeled shrimp, etc.

While the items were separated into different small steel bowls, the bowls themselves were exposed to the air. Who knows if a little bug might crawl in?

Little Taotie pointed to the small steel bowls, “Why not cover them with plastic wrap?”

The Head Chef, troubled, said distressingly, “Covering each one, and having to unwrap each when needed, will delay the cooking process and the dishes might burn!”

Little Taotie frowned at him, “Is it that troublesome to unwrap plastic wrap?”

The Head Chef wanted to nod and say it was troublesome, but seeing the little girl’s fierce yet cute eyes, he reluctantly said, “You’re the Little Boss, whatever you say goes!”

Though in his heart he was mumbling: Just five days, endure for just five days.

Little Taotie was completely unaware that she had become the Little Plague God of the kitchen, with all five kitchen staff wishing she would leave quickly and stop criticizing.
