The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1273: Chapter 1273: The Unclosed Window on a Rainy Night

On the first day at the villa, they had cake for lunch and ate the food Zhuge Xunming “brought” back for dinner, so it was a relatively smooth day. At least they didn’t go hungry, much luckier than the poor seven little ghosts from the first season.

Helen hugged Little Taotie’s arm, snuggling, and asked sweetly, “Tao Tao, I want to share a room with you~”

Little Taotie looked at Hua Jinyan, hesitating, “But I’ve already promised to be with Hua Jinyan.”

Helen shook her head disapprovingly, “You can’t share a room with a boy! We’re both girls, we should stay in the same room!”

Hua Jinyan glanced coldly at Helen.

If Helen wasn’t unwell, he would definitely push her away from Little Taotie.

Helen pouted, “Tao Tao, keep me company, I’m afraid I might…” fall asleep and never wake up again.

She had never slept alone before.

Little Taotie hesitantly glanced at Hua Jinyan, unsure of what to say.

Hua Jinyan sighed, “I’ll sleep alone.”

Little Taotie breathed a sigh of relief and held Helen’s hand, “Then we can stay together! I’ll introduce you to my teddy bear, it’s very cute!”

The two little girls went hand in hand to the room, and Little Taotie introduced the teddy bear in a pink sweater to Helen.

Holding the teddy bear, Helen earnestly praised, “It’s so cute and smells nice too.”

Little Taotie giggled, “It’s because I sprayed perfume on its pink sweater, it’s a rose scent!”

“I have a good friend to introduce to you too!” Helen took out a beautiful plush doll from her box, “Look, my good friend Camellia, isn’t she cute?”

“Wow~~~” Little Taotie’s eyes widened, with tiny stars sparkling in them.

Helen took out a small bag and out came many little dresses, “These are all Camellia’s dresses!”

Little Taotie looked at her teddy bear and suddenly felt sorry for it, wearing the same pink sweater over and over, compared to Camellia with so many dresses!

Helen giggled, “I have a small wardrobe at home, it’s full of clothes, bags, shoes, and hair accessories for Camellia…”

It started raining at night, with a faint buzzing sound, a kind of dull thunder.

Helen was a bit scared, “Are the windows closed tightly?”

Little Taotie patted Helen’s back, “Don’t worry, I’ve shut them all tightly.”

Helen asked softly, “What about the windows downstairs?”

Little Taotie shook her head, “I don’t know either.”

Helen, “The rain is so heavy, will it come inside?”

Little Taotie got out of bed, “Then I’ll go downstairs and check.”

Helen held onto her, “I’ll go with you.”

Little Taotie waved her small hand, “I can go by myself.”

Helen was still worried and insisted on going together.

The first floor had no lights, it was very dark.

Little Taotie jumped up to turn on the lights, but the switch flickered a few times and then stayed off.

“Is the light broken?” Little Taotie jumped up again, pressing the button several times.

The lights wouldn’t turn back on.

Helen clung to Little Taotie’s arm, “It’s probably broken, it’s so dark, let’s go back to the room.”

Little Taotie looked towards the windows on the first floor, hearing the rain hitting the windowsill, “But the windows seem to be open, I should go and close them.”

Helen held onto Little Taotie’s arm, “But it’s too dark, can you see anything, you might bump into something.”

“I can see, my night vision is pretty good!” Little Taotie boasted.

Helen feared she would drag down Little Taotie, as she couldn’t see anything, so she let go, “Then be careful, I’ll wait here for you.”

Little Taotie giggled, “Alright, be good and wait here for me.”

Just as Little Taotie was about to walk over, she saw a figure climb in from outside the window!
