The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1268: Chapter 1268: Zaizai Guards the Refrigerator

Li Dahe blocked the door, preventing anyone from entering, but how could a small person stop them? He was easily picked up by a staff member, and the others entered the door smoothly.

Hearing the commotion, the little Zaizais who were each tidying their rooms rushed over.

Li Dahe shouted at the top of his lungs, “Stop them, don’t let them go to the kitchen, they are going to rob us and take away our food!”

Little Taotie was the first to rush to the kitchen, using his small body to block the door.

Hua Jinyan stood beside Little Taotie.

Even the lazy Zhuge Xunming got up from the couch, and he also stood in front of the kitchen door.

Soon, six little Zaizais were blocking the kitchen door.

The staff didn’t take these little Zaizais seriously, and since the director had sent quite a few people, they planned to carry each one away and then confiscate the ingredients from the fridge.

Helen was the fiercest but also the first to be carried away.

Wukong somehow produced a round toy from somewhere, palm-sized, but when a button was pressed, it instantly turned into a long stick.

It was practically a replica of the Jingu Bang.

“Take this, from your grandpa Sun!” Wukong raised the stick, ready to strike, “Huh?”

Why couldn’t he hit?

He looked up and saw that one end of the raised stick was being held by a tall staff member.

“Ah!” Wukong used all his might, but it was useless; the stick didn’t move a bit.

Wukong was defeated and let go.

The stick fell into the staff member’s hands.

The staff member had a bit of a mischievous streak and demonstrated a stick routine in front of Wukong.

Wukong’s eyes lit up, and he moved closer, “Uncle, can you teach me?”

“Sure, come over here,” the staff member beckoned to him.

Wukong happily trotted over.

This Zaizai didn’t even need to be carried away; he just followed the person.

Zhuge Xunming gritted his teeth, “Idiot!”

Tom tried to reason, “Before taking on the task, you didn’t say that failure would lead to confiscating the ingredients in the fridge, so you can’t enter the kitchen now, nor take anything. If you had informed us beforehand, we wouldn’t be blocking you. We hope you’ll be reasonable.”

Staff member: “We’re not about reasoning; whatever the director tells us to do, we’ll do.”

Tom was stunned for a moment, putting on a stern little face, “You can’t be unreasonable!”

Staff member: “The director’s words are reason. He now wants us to confiscate the ingredients in the fridge, so we follow this reason and confiscate the ingredients.”

“I want to see the director!” Tom clenched his little fist, a bit angry now.

“The director won’t meet you; he’s very busy.” The staff member found little Tom’s serious demeanor amusing and deliberately teased him, chuckling, “In this world, not everyone is reasonable. You look like an old stubborn fool who doesn’t know how to be flexible.”

Zhuge Xunming, seeing Tom sulking, stepped forward and sneered, “We may have participated in the show and signed a contract promising to follow the director’s instructions during the show, but it doesn’t mean we have to follow everything he says. Is he the local emperor here, that we have to follow even if he tells us to commit murder or arson? Besides, we are minors; even if we don’t adhere to the contract terms, so what? We won’t listen to the director. Let him come and bite me!”

“Blah blah blah~~~”

Zhuge Xunming made faces, stuck out his tongue, and rolled his eyes at the staff members.

He looked as cheeky as could be.
