The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1050: Chapter 1050: Daring to Try New Cuisine

The young lady went to the fridge area and brought back four boxes of natto. She smiled and gave each of them a box, keeping one for herself, ”I also feel like having some. As guests from afar, consider this my way of showing hospitality by treating you all.”

Little Jinzi laughed and thanked her, calling her ”big sister” repeatedly, showing great enthusiasm.

Little Taotie and Xiao Lingzhi exchanged a glance, both feeling uneasy about this.

The young lady was still a student, working hard during the summer break!

”I need to pay!” Little Taotie pulled out a card.

The young lady grinned, ”The card machine is broken.”

Xiao Lingzhi took out the national currency she had exchanged earlier, ”I have cash!”

The young lady had no choice but to accept money from the stubborn young girl.

”Here are convenience store keychains, one for each of you.”

The pink sakura acrylic with a silver keyring was simple yet beautiful.

Xiao Lingzhi used her phone to take a picture of a poster in the convenience store and translated it, finding out that the keychains were supposed to be redeemed with store points.

”Oh, you~” The young lady said helplessly, ”I used my points for them, they don’t cost money. You don’t like them?” She seemed quite dejected.

Xiao Lingzhi thought for a while, went to the shelf to grab several expensive chocolates, calculated, and found it should be enough to earn points, finally satisfied.

The young lady was quite helpless: ”Now let me show you how to eat natto, surely you won’t refuse that?”

Xiao Lingzhi and Little Taotie exchanged glances, understood each other, and nodded, both thinking to just pretend — no way they would actually eat it!

The young lady opened the square little box, and a not-so-great-smelling odor wafted out.

Little Jinzi’s face changed instantly, and she stepped back several steps.

Little Taotie and Xiao Lingzhi held their breath, pretending not to smell anything.

Little Jinzi looked puzzled, seeing the three seemingly unfazed by the strange smell, wondering if there was something wrong with her nose.

The young lady was used to it, not considering the smell odd at all.

The young lady took out a small packet of ingredients and explained, ”Inside are yellow mustard, soy sauce, and seaweed. Pour them into the natto to mix. I basically eat this every morning.”

The young lady’s technique was very skillful; it was obvious she wasn’t lying — clearly, she eats it every day.

Little Jinzi cautiously approached, the smell swept over her, and she quickly covered her nose: ”Don’t you smell it? It’s just like the stinky socks smell of the apple cider vinegar my big sister drinks every morning!”

Xiao Lingzhi looked at Little Jinzi disdainfully, pressing a finger to Little Jinzi’s lips, ”Shh, don’t talk nonsense! The young lady is about to eat, saying that will make it hard for her to enjoy it!”

Little Jinzi: ”...”

She turned to look at the young lady and found that as the young lady stirred, the natto resembling soybeans actually became stringy!

Little Jinzi’s eyes widened, recalling how her big sister once brought home a piece of blue-and-white cheese, which also smelled but was super tasty when heated!

Could natto be like cheese?

It certainly seemed similar, smelly but stringy! Does it taste like milk?

To have Little Jinzi’s chubby figure means she must be a foodie.

A glutton’s greatest strength is the courage to try any ”delicacy”!

Since the young lady said she eats it every day, it must be delicious, right?

Little Jinzi gathered her courage, opened the small white box in front of her, poured the ingredients inside, and copied the young lady’s stir with chopsticks...
