The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 954: Chapter 954: Trying to Trick Me Out of My Treats

Little Veggie awkwardly withdrew her hand, her face showing just the right mix of hesitation and sadness, with a tiny bit of pitifulness, not too exaggerated, but even more heart-wrenching.

Gotta say, for such a young age, her acting skills were top-notch.

Little Taotie ignored her, after greeting, naturally continued with her own business, looking down to pick up branches.

Little Veggie followed and asked, ”Are you picking up branches? I don’t have much to do. Can I pick up branches with you?”

Little Taotie stopped in her tracks, tilted her head to look at her, then at the pile of branches she had already collected, ”You want to pick up with me?”

”Yes.”

”Then will the branches we collect be shared together?”

Little Veggie smiled gently, ”If I pick up more, I’ll share a bit extra with you.”

Little Taotie drooped her head, sighed, ”Since you say so, how can I not share my branches with you? Are you here to trick me for my branches?” Little Taotie pointed to the pile of branches she collected, ”Just take them yourself.”

Little Veggie was taken aback, then quickly waved her hands, ”No, no, I meant, if I have more, I can share with you, you don’t have to share with me.”

Little Taotie once again stopped, tilted her head to carefully look at her, ”Why?”

Little Veggie was about to say, I want to be friends with you.

But Little Taotie spoke first, ”My second brother said, people who are very attentive always have ulterior motives, using small favors as bait. Once you bite, you’ll be in big trouble.”

Little Veggie stiffened a bit because at that moment, Little Taotie’s gaze towards her suddenly showed hostility.

Little Taotie coldly said, ”Don’t come near me.”

Clearly, her head is full of black mushrooms that hate me, yet she wants to put on an act as if she wants to be friends. Big liar! Must be trying to trick me for my delicious stuff!

Little Veggie’s eyes turned red, with tears welling up, about to fall, looking pitiful and vulnerable.

Suddenly, a chubby fish tail came over, directly squeezing Little Veggie aside, and came to Little Taotie, cooing in a childlike voice, ”Sister Little Taotie, I still want to eat chocolate!”

Little Taotie shuddered a bit, ever since this pudgy fish found out she was a month older, she started to act cute, calling her sister at every turn. Originally, Little Taotie was quite happy being a sister, but... the pudgy fish ate too much!

Little Taotie hugged her bag and ran for it.

Grandma Fensi’s chocolate, only half a box left, this pudgy fish isn’t a Lucky Koi at all, just a disaster fish!

”Sister Little Taotie, why are you running, my outfit doesn’t let me run fast, wait for me!”

”Sister Little Taotie, don’t run, I won’t eat chocolate anymore, isn’t that okay?”

Little Taotie turned her head suspiciously to look back and slowed her pace.

Then Little Jinzi added, ”Could you give me something else tasty then?”

Little Taotie sped up once again, running even faster than before!

Little Jinzi was caught in the dilemma of whether to take off the ”Battle Clothes” and keep going. Taking them off would let her run fast, but without them, she wouldn’t be a Koi.

”I’ve already starved so thin, Sister Little Taotie can just pick me up now, I need to eat well! Oh well, eating first, luck second!” Little Jinzi muttered, convincing herself.

Little Jinzi took off the troublesome ”Battle Clothes” and zoomed off like an arrow, running so swiftly!

Little Taotie was stunned, and ran faster!

Little Jinzi giggled, ”I’m the fastest runner in the class!”

Little Taotie, panting, waved her hand, ”I can’t run anymore, too tired.”

Little Jinzi was also exhausted, gasping for air, ”Finally stopped running, I was about to get lost.”

Lost? Little Taotie froze.

The two kids snapped out of their exhaustion, staring at each other intently, their eyes widening in disbelief and horror!

They... got lost!!!
