The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 938: Chapter 938: The Brave Parachuting Zaizai

Standing at the wind’s edge, Little Taotie squinted against the breeze, and Teacher Beibei chuckled softly, “Should I hold you?”

Little Taotie’s childish voice was full of excitement, “No, I want to jump by myself!”

Teacher Beibei sighed, “Alright, brave Little Taotie.”

Little Taotie’s small feet moved forward bit by bit, feeling a little scared, yet more excited, as if bubbles of excitement were rising in her blood.

“I’m going to jump!” Little Taotie shouted, closed her eyes, and jumped off the fan.

It was her first time skydiving. For a moment, when she felt the weightlessness, she was startled, but then the excitement intensified. She slowly opened her eyes, looking at the blue sky and white clouds, and glanced down at Little Island.

From high above, it looked small, like a turtle’s back.

Teacher Beibei’s loud shout came from behind, “Open the parachute!”

Little Taotie didn’t immediately open the parachute; instead, she savored the weightless feeling a bit longer, spreading her arms like a bird unfolding its single wing to fly.

After playing for a while, she pulled the parachute at Teacher Beibei’s second shout.

The giant parachute expanded, as if she was carrying a vast cloud. The cloud carried her floating in the air, slowly descending.

Little Taotie spread her arms wide, and at that moment, the floating sensation had neither the weightlessness nor the rushing wind and speed of falling, but it allowed her to thoroughly enjoy the brief calm and appreciate the beautiful scenery.

At the moment of landing, she felt somewhat reluctant, wanting more.

Teacher Beibei landed quickly beside Little Taotie, saw the little girl’s reluctant face, paused, and asked, “Did you delay the parachute because you were scared?”

Little Taotie was puzzled, “Why pull it so early? I wanted to feel it.”

“Feel?” Teacher Beibei was surprised, “Feel the weightlessness? Feel the lack of restraint from the parachute?”

Little Taotie tilted her head in thought and nodded.

Teacher Beibei gave a thumbs up, “Impressive! For your first parachute experience, you actually enjoyed the freedom brought by weightlessness. You’re just like some professional athletes.”

“Professional athletes?” Little Taotie was puzzled, “Do people professionally learn this too?”

Teacher Beibei nodded, “They even get certified.”

Little Taotie was stunned, “Why does everything have a certification?”

Teacher Beibei teased, “Often after getting certified, some people never touch it again.”

“Then why get certified? Isn’t it because you like doing something?”

“Not really. Adults think differently from you pure children. Their reasons for getting certified are mostly for the certification itself, not out of love for doing something, but because doing that something brings benefits.”

Little Taotie tilted her head, semi-understanding, “Doing things you don’t like… it makes you unhappy.”

Teacher Beibei smiled, “That’s why you’re a pure child; your motivation is always about liking or not liking. But adults are better at judging whether something is beneficial.”

The gathering whistle sounded, and Teacher Beibei and Little Taotie dropped their parachutes and headed towards the whistle’s sound.

Looking over, there were more people gathered than on the hilltops, “There weren’t this many people before.”

“Perhaps those arranging rides took two or three hilltops, with several planes.”

“Are there a hundred people here?”

Teacher Beibei nodded, “The first day there’s a hundred people, and gradually there will be fewer. Some people can’t last ten days and will give up and leave midway.”
