The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 824: Chapter 824: Chen Zi Doesn’t Celebrate Birthdays

The director was speechless and curled his lips.

Young people, do you really believe in love?

Admiring this... kind of love from the antagonist?

The director felt more in sync with the screenwriter’s mentor and himself, a bit worried about collaborating with this screenwriter on the first movie, it might not be good. After all, she seems unreliable now!

”When will your mentor come out of retreat?” the director suddenly asked.

The screenwriter suspiciously stared at him, ”What do you mean?”

The director, feeling guilty, glanced away, ”I kind of miss him.”

Ah, smoking together, drinking together, so great!

Now with this screenwriter, we discuss the script without even smoking, so frustrating!

The screenwriter said indifferently, ”Long way to go, he’s recently writing a novel.”

The director was shocked, ”Not writing a script?”

The screenwriter nodded, ”He opened a pseudonym online to write a novel.”

”Still an online novel?” The director’s mouth twitched, ”He’s quite old. Can his mind keep up with young people? Will young people want to read what he writes? Don’t be ridiculous!”

The screenwriter glared at him, ”Quite old? Would you dare say that in front of my mentor?”

The director’s eyes wandered, muttering under his breath, ”Already sixty, yet still doesn’t admit to aging.”

”My mentor says that when he dresses up and goes out, people think he’s thirty.”

”Do you believe that?”

”I do.” The screenwriter gently touched her hair, raised her lips, ”When I dress up and go out, people think I’m eighteen.”

The director: ”...” Confirmed, true mentor and apprentice, true uncle and niece, bloodline runs deep.

Yang Lusi quietly asked, ”Tangtang, how old are you?”

The screenwriter smiled, ”Eighteen.”

Yang Lusi: ”...”

The director debunked, ”Thirty-three, an older leftover woman.”

The screenwriter, annoyed, slammed down her cup heavily.

The director rushed over, looking distressed, ”Be gentle, it’s 500M gold!”

The screenwriter smiled dangerously, raised her cup as if to smash it.

The director wanted to cry but had no tears, changed his tune, ”Eighteen, she’s eighteen this year!”

The screenwriter raised it high, then gently put it down, smiling, ”Yes, I’m eighteen.”

...

Chen Zi received a phone call, it was from Shang Yang.

”Brother Chen, how are you planning to celebrate your thirtieth birthday? Throw a party?”

Chen Zi lazily replied, ”Not throwing a party. No money, still repaying loans.”

”Brother Chen, all the money I sent to you, you returned it, I really don’t know what you’re thinking.”

”Your money is your money, nothing to do with me, no need to send it to me.”

”Without Brother Chen, I wouldn’t know where I’d be now, might have been down and never touched music again. My money is Brother’s money!”

”I like money, with the condition that I earn it myself. I enjoy the process of earning and spending money. Others gifting me, it’s meaningless, I don’t like it.”

”Ah, forget it, can’t out-talk you, my brain’s no match for yours either.”

”If there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up now, I’m working.”

”Don’t be in a hurry to hang up, we haven’t talked much yet. Brother Chen, really not celebrating your birthday? Just a few of us, meet for a meal? Without mentioning the birthday, just have a meal and reminisce?”

”We’ll see how it goes, I’m quite busy lately.”

”Alright then.”

The call ended, many people gathered around, chirping and asking, ”What did he say? Is Brother Chen going to celebrate his birthday?”

”Let’s arrange it well for him, give him a surprise, when you call, he definitely says he’s not celebrating.”

”Don’t kid around, Brother Chen doesn’t like surprises, doesn’t like shocks. Believe it or not, you scare him suddenly, he’ll throw the cake at your face and walk away, and even keep it in his little notebook!”

”Damn, don’t scare me, that revenge notebook of his... none of those listed ended well, the consequences were miserable!”

Shang Yang sighed, ”Let’s not arrange it.”

Everyone sighed.

Shang Yang helplessly said, ”He didn’t refuse to have a meal, just said we’ll talk later, he might agree to meet us when he’s free.”

Everyone said, ”That’s also good!”

”Haven’t seen Brother Chen for a long time!”

”If it weren’t for Brother Chen’s help, I would have been forced out of showbiz!”

”Yeah, me too. If it wasn’t for Brother Chen back then, we would have been miserable.”

”What is Brother Chen doing lately, still doing PR?”

”Heard he stopped, now working as an assistant?”

”Assistant, whose assistant?”
