The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 764: Chapter 764: The Little Immortal Who Catches the Bad Guys

The director walked up from behind everyone, ”Sorry, I was about to call and tell you not to come, but you had already arrived. ”

Gu Bei furrowed his brows, ”What happened?”

The director sighed, ”Actually, I should have foreseen it. The content didn’t pass the review, so the show can only be put on hold.”

Gu Bei, ”Just put on hold?”

The director nodded, ”Yes, just put on hold until we come up with a new Strategy and submit it.”

Gu Bei looked serious, ”So all the footage we shot before is wasted?”

The director apologetically nodded, ”It can’t be broadcast on television, but it can still go online. I’ll make a free version and put it online, consider it behind-the-scenes footage.”

Gu Bei’s expression relaxed a bit, ”That’s good, after all, Little Taotie was seriously solving the cases.”

Little Taotie suddenly tugged on the director’s sleeve.

The director looked down at the little girl’s sparkling eyes, puzzled, ”Zaizai, is something wrong?”

Little Taotie gestured for him to come closer.

The director squatted down and leaned his ear closer to her.

During their time at the Special Department, when she heard from the team leader that it wasn’t a paper cutout that tripped the criminal, but that it was predestined by fate, Little Taotie’s gaze upon those files brightened more and more.

At that time, Hua Jinyan, seeing her excitement, asked in a low voice, ”What are you thinking about?”

Little Taotie quietly told him, ”I have a plan, when we return to the shooting location, I’m going to tell the director about the fans, to see if he can accept it.”

Unexpectedly, she found the opportunity to speak so soon.

Little Taotie whispered into the director’s ear, ”Originally, director, each of your investigative stories told everyone the real outcome.”

The director nodded, ”Yes, to tell everyone the truth.”

”But by doing that, it’s like with the juvenile’s case, the juvenile escaped responsibility, although it tells everyone to be careful of juveniles, it also teaches other ill-intentioned juveniles how to commit crimes and escape punishment!”

Hearing this, the director’s face turned stern.

Initially, when he received the notification of the disapproval, he felt somewhat indignant.

But now, after hearing Little Taotie’s words, he suddenly realized.

The director understood.

Although he had conveyed all the truths, he had also inadvertently taught those criminals how to commit crimes.

There might be someone who, after watching his show, would mimic the juvenile, mimic his plans...

It was frightening to consider!

Sweat beaded on the director’s forehead.

He initially thought what he was doing was a good thing, but now it seemed, maybe it wasn’t.

Being censored was probably justified.

The director wiped off his sweat, sighing, ”I need to think carefully about how to change the show; it might take a long time. Sorry, you’ll have to wait for me a long while. ”

Little Taotie giggled, ”I have a way!”

The director was startled.

Her voice wasn’t low, and everyone looked over.

Gu Bei furrowed his brows, gently holding Little Taotie’s hand, ”Don’t suggest anything rash.”

A show that failed to pass the review—what could Little Taotie possibly suggest without causing more trouble?

Little Taotie giggled, ”I won’t suggest anything rash; it’s a good idea, really!”

”Let’s hear it,” said the director seriously, looking at her, waiting for her to continue.

Gu Bei frowned deeply, but seeing Little Taotie’s eyes sparkling, he reluctantly nodded, letting her continue.

Little Taotie grinned, ”I’m a Little Immortal sent from heaven to catch bad people!”

Director, ”...”

Gu Bei, ”...”

Everyone present, ”...”

Seeing everyone’s doubtful eyes, Little Taotie straightened up, ”In the show, I could be given that identity!”

At that, the director’s eyes suddenly sparkled.

Little Taotie, in a sweet soft voice, ”People do their deeds, but heaven sees—Invisibly, a Little Immortal comes to punish you!”
