The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 738: Chapter 738: The Props Shouldn’t Be Too Real

”Ah!” A scream arose as the corpse lay facing up.

Everyone looked up at the sound, only to see a girl standing by the wall, and Little Taotie beside her.

Ji Guang rushed over, wanting to cover Little Taotie’s eyes with his hands, but as he raised his hands, he realized they were covered in ketchup and mulberry juice.

The director reacted quickly, taking off his jacket and covering the face of the ”corpse.”

The girl regretted screaming the moment she did. It wasn’t really that scary; it was just a reflex from the initial shock.

Looking at Little Taotie beside her, she noticed the little girl was quite composed.

The girl pursed her lips and asked, ”Aren’t you scared?”

Little Taotie tilted her head, a puzzled expression on her face, ”Isn’t it fake?”

Confronting Little Taotie’s innocent, wide eyes, the girl’s face turned red.

Indeed, she had known it was fake; how could she still scream in fear?

She felt so weak, even weaker than a cub.

The director turned around, face stern, ”What’s the matter with you, bringing Little Taotie in here!”

Ji Guang, now with clean hands, came over and carried Little Taotie out, ”Don’t be afraid, it was all fake just now.”

”I know it’s all fake.” Little Taotie wanted to get down.

”Sweetheart, don’t move, let’s go outside first.”

”But I want to see the corpse!”

”You can’t look.”

”I’m not scared, I know it’s fake, and even if it were real, I wouldn’t be scared!”

”Stop making a fuss.”

”I’m not making a fuss.” Little Taotie was extremely frustrated.

She looked pleadingly at Little Cutie Sister, shouting, ”Sister!”

Little Cutie, unable to defend herself, was currently being scolded by the director.

”What if she gets scared and has nightmares tonight? Children are prone to being haunted by nightmares! There’s no hospital nearby, and it would be too late to go to the hospital then...”

”I know I was wrong, please stop saying it...”

Ji Guang took Little Taotie out of the men’s restroom and casually closed the door behind them.

Little Taotie: ”...”

Ji Guang patted her head, ”Good girl.”

Little Taotie: ”...” I don’t want to be a good child anymore!

The director dared not let them stay here any longer.

Without a single crime scene shot, the program would be dull, but now he felt that props being too realistic was not a good thing; it might even get banned.

Director: ”Perhaps the props should look a bit faker.”

The props master, a graduate from an overseas art school who considered themselves an artist, widened their eyes and argued with the director in broken Hua Country language.

”Make it look faker? Are you kidding me, you hired me to make everything perfect, didn’t you?”

”I’m afraid it’s too realistic, it might get banned.”

”Why ban it? Everything’s fake, just because I made it too realistic? Good heavens, I won’t compromise!”

”No, can’t you calm down a bit; let’s talk this over.”

”No! I don’t want to talk with you; my work has a soul, and I will never create rough trash!”

”Is there really nothing to discuss?” the director asked in frustration.

”Hmph!”

”Then we can only terminate the contract.”

”What did I do wrong! I did it so well, it could deceive anyone, no one can do better than me!”

”Why can’t you understand? What I mean is, your work being too realistic might get the show banned; you can’t make it too realistic, it needs to be obviously fake even while looking real.”

”Oh! Good heavens! Are you joking—”

”Stop!”

The director made a stop gesture, ”I’ve made myself very clear. If you insist on pursuing your art and deceiving with it, you’re not suitable for our show, we can only economize. If you’re willing to compromise and make it seem slightly flawed while looking real, then we can continue working together.”
