The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 609: Chapter 609: The Fierce Creature Fears Zaizai

Shen Cang pointed to the door. ”You step outside the door.”

Little Taotie looked confused, yet obediently walked over, and with one foot stepped over the threshold, Shen Cang felt the thing suppressed beneath the Black Chicken Jade platform begin to stir.

When Little Taotie left the Ancient Castle entirely and stood outside it, the creature beneath the Black Chicken Jade platform seemed to lose all fear, striking the platform with tremendous force, shaking the ground of the castle, as the crystal chandelier on the ceiling teetered on the brink of falling.

One by one, cracks spread on the surface of the Black Chicken Jade platform, as if it were fracturing.

Shen Cang squinted his eyes and beckoned to Little Taotie, ”Take one step inside.”

Little Taotie, not understanding the reason, was nonetheless obedient.

As one of her feet stepped back into the Ancient Castle, everyone clearly felt that the creature assaulting the Black Chicken Jade platform dared not continue, and immediately quieted down.

”It... it’s afraid of Little Taotie?” the girl with the round face spoke up.

This seemed to open the floodgates of conversation among the people present.

”The fierce creature stopped moving!”

”The fierce creature almost broke through the seal!”

”Is it really afraid of Little Taotie?”

”How could it be afraid of Little Taotie, could it be that she is fiercer than the creature?”

”What nonsense are you talking about, Zaizai is so cute, how could she be fierce?”

”But when she left, the creature dared to hit the seal, and once she returned, it didn’t dare to strike anymore, it’s so obvious, isn’t that fear?”

Little Taotie cocked her head, speechless, but her little ears were sharp enough to catch every word.

Her gaze landed on the Black Chicken Jade platform, she had been in the Special Department for some time now, and she had heard that something fearsome was sealed beneath, something not even Head Grandpa could kill.

The creature could not be destroyed, so Head Grandpa could only seal it within the Ancient Castle, suppressed by the Black Chicken Jade platform.

Curious if the creature was indeed afraid of her, Little Taotie stood at the door, facing the direction of the Black Chicken Jade platform, and let out an ”awoo”, making a fierce yet adorable expression as if she were a Hungry Tiger Pouncing on Prey.

”Whimper, whimper, whimper!”

The crowd: ”...” Did they hear that wrong?

The creature had made a sound similar to that of a frightened little dog, a whine from its throat?

Shen Cang was also surprised, not expecting it would really be afraid of Little Taotie.

He gestured for Little Taotie to come over.

With a wide grin, Little Taotie’s eyes curved into crescents, feeling quite proud of herself for making the fierce creature cry!

She hopped and skipped over to Shen Cang, unable to speak, she could only look up at him with big blinking eyes, as if to say with her gaze: I’m so amazing, praise me!

The corners of Shen Cang’s mouth curled up slightly, but he quickly returned to his usual stern demeanor.

He picked up Little Taotie and placed her on top of the Black Chicken Jade platform.

”You continue to sleep.”

Upon hearing this, Little Taotie quickly shook her head.

She wasn’t sleepy at all.

”If you can’t sleep, just lie down, rolling around on top is also fine.”

Little Taotie nodded her head, lying down on the Black Chicken Jade platform, and even poked at the cracks with her little hands—as limp and cuddly as a plush teddy bear.

Shen Cang went off to the side to draw talismans.

Seeing Shen Cang engrossed in drawing talismans, some people began to slowly approach Little Taotie, like the round-faced girl.

She took out a bag of potato chips, opened it, and began feeding them.

Though not hungry, Little Taotie was tempted by the delicious smell of the chips.

So when the round-faced girl offered a chip to her mouth, she would open hers to eat it.

While the round-faced girl was feeding Little Taotie, she wasn’t neglecting herself either, giving Little Taotie one chip, and taking one for herself, back and forth in a harmonious and amiable scene.
