The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 473: Chapter 473: Horse Stance Waving Little Fists

The director furrowed his brows, “It’s just a fake rat, do we need to be THAT scared?”

The cameraman was also puzzled, “Who’s controlling the remote? Their manipulation skills are top-notch!”

A member of the Props Team came over holding a fake rat, hurriedly saying, “The fake rat is here; we didn’t even have time to place it in the thatched hut!”

“Then…” the director’s voice quivered slightly, “A real rat?”

The cameraman nodded, “Little Taotie is mighty!”

The director’s face turned ashen, “If it had been a real rat, Top Gu could have been injured!”

Thinking of the scene where the rat charged straight toward Gu Yixing’s face, if Little Taotie hadn’t wielded the enamel basin with a “King of Heaven covers Earth Tiger” maneuver, Gu Yixing’s face… might have been ruined!

The director was retroactively frightened and said coldly, “Tomorrow they can’t stay in the thatched cottages anymore. Let them stay in the best villas, send someone to clean up, insecticide, rat poison and the like, make sure it’s completely clean, no more negligence!”

…

When Little Taotie returned to the thatched hut, he saw everyone still shaken and not quite recovered.

Like a little adult, he poured them each a glass of cool boiled water and gestured to Xiao Lingzhi to hand out the glasses.

Gu Yixing drank a glass of the cool water, finally feeling a bit more alert.

King of Film Xu also came around and once he calmed down, thought he had been too cowardly.

Cheng Lu sighed, “The three of us adults weren’t as good as the two kids.”

The three adults couldn’t sleep that night, half-awake, half-dozing.

Exhausted from the day’s work, Xiao Lingzhi and Little Taotie fell asleep as soon as they hit the bed, with Cheng Lu squeezing in beside them.

There were mats on the floor, but King of Film Xu and Gu Yixing didn’t sleep on the mats, seemingly because of the trauma from the incident of the rat coming out from under the bed.

The two sat in chairs, leaning back, and made do for the night.

Early in the morning, the roosters’ crowing in the countryside spread far and wide.

Little Taotie opened his eyes and hopped out of bed.

Cheng Lu, who had only managed to doze off in the second half of the night, was still sleepy and asked half opening her eyes, “Waking up so early? Won’t you sleep a bit more?”

Little Taotie, full of energy, his big eyes twinkling, said, “I’m going to practice Martial Arts!”

Little Taotie was quick to brush his teeth and wash his face, then dashed out of the thatched hut and started practicing the Horse Stance, swinging his little fists.

Xiao Lingzhi sat up, leaning on the edge of the bed, still somewhat drowsy, when she heard Little Taotie’s energetic “hey hey ha ha” from outside the door.

King of Film Xu asked, “Does Little Taotie really know Martial Arts?”

Cheng Lu thought for a moment and answered, “She should, I heard she went to Shaolin Temple to learn. And given her strength, it might be related to practicing Martial Arts from an early age.”

King of Film Xu nodded, “Her strength is indeed out of the ordinary. If she has been practicing since childhood, then it all makes sense.”

Gu Yixing opened the window, looked at the little girl outside earnestly practicing the Horse Stance and throwing punches, and slightly lifted the corners of his mouth, “She’s very serious.”

Xiao Lingzhi hopped off the bed, carelessly wiped her face, didn’t even brush her teeth, and ran out of the room to where Little Taotie was. Pacing around her, she called out, “Let’s go running! Running is way more useful than you doing the Horse Stance here!”

Little Taotie ignored her and continued earnestly with his “hey hey ha ha” punches.

“Look, there are lots of flowers overhead, colorful ones, let’s go pick flowers on the hill?” Xiao Lingzhi ran around, saying cheerfully.

After swinging a hundred punches, Little Taotie took a deep breath, performed a gesture to end his practice, slowly stood up, exhaled with closed eyes, and three seconds later, opened his eyes, complaining in a milky voice, “Stop running, you’re making me dizzy, I almost messed up!”
