The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 389: Chapter 389: Abiding by the Laws of Nature Chapter 389: Chapter 389: Abiding by the Laws of Nature Gu Yixing took the contract and started reading, flipping through several pages, his expression darkening.

It looked like many pages, but the main point was: he was the teacher, he had absolute freedom.

“How could you agree to sign such a contract?”

The director looked pained, “If we didn’t sign, he wouldn’t have come; we had to sign.”

Gu Yixing held his forehead, “You are the director, you need to bring out your authority to overpower him!”

The lowly director, whose apple pie had been snatched away, pitifully said, “He can swallow worms alive, I’m scared.”

Gu Yixing: “…” Alright, I’m scared too.

In the clear seawater, a large lobster was waving its antennae, leisurely looking for food on the seaweed-covered seabed.

Teacher Beibei jumped directly into the sea, dived to the bottom, searching for the wandering lobsters on the seafloor.

Little Taotie followed into the water, trailing behind Teacher Beibei like a little tail.

In other shows, Teacher Beibei was a harsh instructor, and even some artists privately called him cruel and inhumane.

Wilderness survival shows were popular; almost every TV station tried to produce one, and Teacher Beibei was a highly sought-after instructor, leading the artists in wilderness survival.

Some shows even used Teacher Beibei eating worms as a gimmick; the image of Teacher Beibei forcing female artists to eat worms was wildly circulated, hyping the variety show into trending searches.

In the eyes of adults, he was a harsh instructor, but in Little Taotie’s eyes, he was the best teacher and playmate, and a very gentle uncle.

After finding a large lobster, Teacher Beibei hooked the lobster in the middle part with a small hook, gently yanked it and placed it into a net he carried.

Teacher Beibei made a gesture, and Little Taotie hurried upstream, both surfacing.

Little Taotie laughed happily, “Caught a big lobster!”

“Don’t get too excited too soon.”

Teacher Beibei started measuring the lobster’s length; it was about 10 centimeters.

To Little Taotie’s amazed and bewildered gaze, Teacher Beibei tossed the lobster back to the sea with a flick of his hand.

“We finally found it! Why did you throw it back?” Little Taotie plunged into the water, but before she could start swimming, Teacher Beibei lifted her out of the water by one hand, holding her high above the sea surface.

Little Taotie looked bewildered, her big eyes blinking, blankly looking at Teacher Beibei.

Teacher Beibei patiently explained, “Lobsters need to be at least 5.5 inches, about 14 centimeters. If it’s below this standard, the caught lobster must be returned to the sea.”

“Why?” Little Taotie tilted her head, water droplets trickling down her cheeks, her demeanor cute and bewildered.

Teacher Beibei put her back into the water, moving her wet bangs from her face, “Every caught lobster must be rigorously measured according to this standard. If a female lobster carrying babies is encountered, it must be immediately released back into the sea.”

“Nature’s gifts are without charge; people must abide by nature’s rules. Only by following the rules can we continue to have everything we have now. If you try to break it, the existing happiness will also slowly fade away.”

“Although you are still young and might not understand fully, when you grow up and reflect back, you will comprehend.”

Gu Yixing initially disapproved of Teacher Beibei taking Little Taotie on wild adventures.

After all, she was still a child; staying in the seawater for too long was dangerous. But with Teacher Beibei’s professional assurance, Gu Yixing could only compromise, watching the two from the shore with both worry and eagerness.

When he heard what Teacher Beibei and Little Taotie discussed, Gu Yixing felt that letting Little Taotie explore with Teacher Beibei would be an experience worth remembering.
