The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 330: Chapter 330: Call Me Auntie Chapter 330: Chapter 330: Call Me Auntie Little Taotie anxiously jogged down the hospital corridor, and upon entering the ward and seeing Hua Jinyan lying unconscious in bed, she slowed down, approaching the bedside on tiptoe.

The “Little Lion” that had been nestling in Hua Jinyan’s embrace raised its fluffy little head, its cat eyes instantly enlarging, nervous and alert!

But when it recognized that the comer was its little owner, it immediately relaxed, and its pupils contracted.

Just as it was about to let out a meowing cheer, Little Taotie pinched its mouth shut.

“Little Lion” struggled.

Little Taotie “shushed” it, whispering softly, “Don’t wake him up.”

Hua Jinyan felt the Kitty squirming in his arms and was woken up by the noise.

He opened his eyes, his gaze blank, unsure of the time.

Suddenly, he met Little Taotie’s eyes, brimming with concern.

Little Taotie’s baby voice was thick with worry and tension, “Hua Jinyan, why did you get sick? Did you kick off your blankets while sleeping at night?”

Hua Jinyan grinned at the sight of her, his face pale but mood seemingly good.

“You gave me too much of the chocolate, I accidentally ate too much.”

Eating too much chocolate, he had entered a long dream, appearing to the outside world as if he were in a deep feverish sleep.

“Splitting it fifty-fifty, so it was too much?” Little Taotie tilted her head, sighed, and imitating an adult’s tone, said in a milky voice, “You’re an unfortunate one, getting sick from eating too much, just like the village chief’s grandson, who gets diarrhea from overeating.”

Hua Jinyan: “…”

Little Taotie scooped “Little Lion” from his embrace, hugging it close and showering it with affection, asking, “Has it been snuggled up to you this whole time?”

“A Spiritual Body cat came to the villa, and Little Lion was very afraid, always hiding in my embrace and refusing to come out.”

“So it really was a Spiritual Body cat.”

“Did you see it too?” Hua Jinyan asked.

Little Taotie nodded, “It led me to an abandoned villa, where I rescued someone.”

Little Taotie began to recount her brave exploits…

She puffed out her chest and declared, “I am a hero!”

Hua Jinyan said without conviction, “Did you call the police? His parents must be worried about him, you should send him back quickly.”

Hua Jinyan thought: Just send him away already!

Little Taotie shook her head, “We agreed to take him to the police station after he had eaten, but now I don’t know where he is. When I heard you were sick and in the hospital, I rushed over immediately and didn’t bother with him.”

On hearing this, Hua Jinyan felt warmth in his heart, and the corners of his mouth quietly curled up.

“Are you really okay?” Little Taotie reached out her little hand to touch his forehead.

As if the small hand couldn’t gauge the temperature accurately, the little one leaned closer, pressing her forehead against his.

Hua Jinyan, looking into her eyes so close to him, felt his face heat up and said softly, “I’m fine now, the fever has subsided.”

Little Taotie, perplexed, “Why is it still hot? Your face is also red!”

Hua Jinyan’s face turned even redder, his voice even softer, “It’s really okay, I can be discharged soon.”

“Really can be discharged?”

“Yes!”

Hua Jinyan said he could be discharged, and so he was, following Little Taotie home.

Back at the villa, opening the door, Little Taotie blurted out upon seeing the person sitting on the sofa, “Why are you still here?”

The boy: “…” How eager are they for me to leave?

Hua Jinyan, following Little Taotie, entered the door and locked eyes with the boy.

It was as if something exploded in the air.

Hua Jinyan’s deep eyes darkened even further, a grim shadow in their depths.

The boy’s eyes, which seemed as innocent as a deer’s, blinked, a flash of unfriendly light passing swiftly across them.

Qin Xin explained, “His father is my friend, who has asked me to look after him for a while. Once his father finishes his business, he will come to pick him up.”

Little Taotie, in her baby voice, “Big Brother Qin, if his dad is your friend, should he call you ‘Uncle’? Should he call me ‘Auntie’?”

Qin Xin smiled, “He calls me ‘Dad’.”

The boy became anxious, “I didn’t agree to that!”

Qin Xin smiled, “Your dad and I are of the same generation, a child should be polite, call out to someone now.”

Little Taotie joined in the teasing, clapping her little hands, “Quick, call me ‘Auntie’!”
