The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 251: Chapter 251: Over a Hundred Swans Chapter 251: Chapter 251: Over a Hundred Swans Cheng Guodong walked over, heard Little Taotie’s milky voice, and with a smile teased her, “Is my little sister scared and doesn’t dare to feed them?”

“I… am not.”

Little Taotie’s face turned red, her small hands fidgeting, and her gaze flitting around uncertainly.

Hua Jinyan walked up to her, placed a lettuce leaf in her hand, and, holding her hand up high, said, “Don’t be afraid, let’s feed them together.”

Little Taotie looked up at the tall giraffe, and as it stuck out its tongue, she involuntarily shrank back her little hand. However, Hua Jinyan held onto her little hand and helped her feed the giraffe, which stretched its neck over to eat.

When the giraffe had successfully eaten the leaf, Little Taotie looked at her unharmed little hand and let out a sigh of relief.

That’s great, not eaten!

And her hand was still intact!

Little Taotie backed away, still obviously resistant to feeding the giraffe.

Hua Jinyan took hold of her little hand and asked, “Do you want to see the swans?”

Little Taotie, who had been feeling self-doubt from not daring to feed the animals, suddenly cast aside her worries, her eyes full of anticipation as she shone brightly at Hua Jinyan, “Are there swans? I want to see them, I want to see!”

Upon reaching the waterside to explore, Little Taotie stood still, her big eyes fixed tightly on the lake, looking at the hundreds of swans clustering together.

“Am I dreaming?” Little Taotie hardly dared to breathe, as if afraid of waking up from a dream.

“This isn’t a dream. You can have hundreds of swans, white swans, black swans, you choose! And you can feed them too!” Cheng Guodong laughed at his sister’s adorable demeanor, and stuffed feed into her little hands, “You didn’t dare to feed the giraffe, but what about the swans? Does our little Taotie dare to feed them?”

Little Taotie excitedly gripped the feed in her hands, her little milky voice trembling, “Really? Can I feed them?”

“Yes, go feed them!”

Little Taotie ran over gleefully, a sweet smile spreading across her little face.

Under the sunlight, the water glimmered, and swans swam in formation on the lake, occasionally flapping their wings to fly from one side to another.

Little Taotie crouched carefully by the side, offering food. She didn’t dare to feed the swans directly to their beaks, although she saw some passerby uncles holding food in their palms for the swans to eat. She was a little tempted to do like them, but also feared her little hand might be bitten by a swan.

She only dared to throw the feed onto the lake’s surface when the swans gathered around to eat, and then the swans would dip their heads to peck at the white pieces that floated on the water.

After she had fed all the food in her hands, she turned and looked eagerly at Cheng Guodong.

Cheng Guodong laughed, stepped forward, and gave her another small bag. Fearing she would feed them all too quickly, Little Taotie threw them onto the water’s surface one by one, very slowly.

As the swans bent down to peck at the feed, Little Taotie gathered her courage, her small hand itching to act.

This time she threw several pieces at once, and while the swans were buried in eating and wouldn’t look up for a while, Little Taotie quickly reached out to touch a swan, and just as quickly retracted her hand, as if terrified, then turned and ran into someone’s arms.

She had intended to throw herself into the arms of her eldest brother or second brother, whoever was fine, but when she looked up, she found herself gazing into Hua Jinyan’s eyes.

“Don’t be afraid, they won’t hurt you.”

His voice was very gentle, as if it had the power to soothe.

Little Taotie nodded, her big eyes shiny, “Swans are so pretty, are there any Ugly Ducklings here?”

Hua Jinyan pointed in a direction, and Little Taotie followed it to see a white swan swimming forward with four or five fluffy, gray birds trailing behind, looking like ducklings but larger than duckling chicks.

“Are these the children of the swan?” Little Taotie tilted her head, somewhat incredulous, “Swans are clearly white, so why are their children gray?”
