Invincible Little School Doctor

”Shush!” Sophia gestured silence to Ye Haochuan, not answering any of his questions. She quickly opened a window and jumped out.

Ye Haochuan pursed his lips, knowing now wasn’t the time for questions, he followed her and jumped out.

Outside was a small garden. Sophia walked to its center and lifted a giant stone, revealing a sewer manhole in front of Ye Haochuan.

They opened the manhole and jumped inside without hesitation.

Though Ye Haochuan didn’t want to admit it, the foreign sewer system was indeed well-built. While there was a strong stench, it was passable for passage.

Ye Haochuan hadn’t expected he’d ever escape through a sewer. But truth be told, it was an ideal escape route.

”When I saw your greedy look upon hearing about the Holy Bead, I knew you had some bad intentions. So when I heard someone infiltrated the secret chamber, I suspected it might be you!” Sophia took the opportunity to answer Ye Haochuan’s first question.

She had accidentally overheard the Law Enforcement Team’s conversation on the intercom and worried it was Ye Haochuan, so quietly sneaked over.

She initially just guessed, but then realized the pursued figure bore a strong resemblance to Ye Haochuan, instantly confirming her suspicion.

She silently cursed Ye Haochuan’s impulsiveness more than once, but given the situation, she didn’t have time to reproach him, instead thinking of ways to rescue Ye Haochuan.

”I discovered that hidden sewer manhole once while playing in the garden, not many people know about it.”

Sophia said sternly, ”But now they’ve likely discovered we’re in the sewer, they’ll be blocking the outlet ahead. We must exit from here.”

With that, she climbed a nearby iron ladder, observed briefly, and gently pushed it open.

They emerged in a seldom-visited alley, with no one around. Sophia had never navigated a sewer before, yet managed to exit exactly where she’d expected, allowing her to breathe a sigh of relief.

”This is close to the perimeter of the base, you go straight in this direction, you should be able to evade them!” Restoring the manhole cover to its original state, Sophia pointed a direction to Ye Haochuan.
