Chapter 787: Chapter 786: How Can You Sleep Without Taking Off All Your Clothes? (5 updates)

Yang Hong felt overwhelmingly embarrassed. She really wanted to push Ye Haochuan away, but the thunder outside was too terrifying, making her somewhat reluctant to leave the warmth of his embrace.

”Your hand better not wander anywhere it shouldn’t! Otherwise, I’ll chop it off!” Yang Hong’s cheeks were flushed red as she shyly released Ye Haochuan’s hand, making the largest concession she could.

”Do you really think I’m that evil?” Ye Haochuan chuckled, finding a comfortable position, and his arms slipped around Yang Hong.

This position was even more intimate; Yang Hong’s entire body curled into Ye Haochuan’s embrace, as if he were holding her.

She was immediately mortified. While her heart was filled with embarrassment, she also felt inexplicably reassured and overall quite comfortable.

Oh well, let it be, as long as he doesn’t move around too much! Yang Hong nestled comfortably in Ye Haochuan’s arms, no longer fearing the thunder outside.

With a mischievous smirk, Ye Haochuan had thought she would struggle, but to his surprise, there was no reaction at all. Glancing at Yang Hong’s delicate profile, he too fell into a deep sleep.

Early the next morning, Ye Haochuan’s biological clock woke him up on time.

Following a night’s rest, their sleeping positions had changed. The only difference was that Yang Hong was still sleeping in Ye Haochuan’s embrace, face-to-face, with their cheeks almost touching.

To anyone unaware, they would certainly think the two were a couple or lovers.

This little miss looks quite fetching when she’s asleep! Ye Haochuan grinned to himself, thinking maybe he should sneak a kiss on her face while she’s asleep.

Just at that moment, Yang Hong’s long eyelashes quivered slightly, as if she were about to awaken.

Seeing this, Ye Haochuan hurriedly closed his eyes and feigned sleep, otherwise Yang Hong would explode if she saw their current situation.

Not long after Ye Haochuan closed his eyes, Yang Hong fully woke up.

Seeing the intimate position she and Ye Haochuan were in, her cheeks turned scarlet, and her heart fluttered like a frightened doe.

Oh my God! How shameless of me to have cuddled up with him! In her panic, Yang Hong tried to pull away from Ye Haochuan’s embrace but was held too tightly to escape.

Looking at Ye Haochuan’s ’sleeping’ face, Yang Hong made a weak attempt to struggle before giving up, as she really didn’t want to wake him up.

This scoundrel may be a bit shameless, but he is quite handsome! Seeing Ye Haochuan’s face so close to hers, Yang Hong timidly thought to herself.

Just then, the door suddenly clicked open and a figure walked in, ”Daughter, I had a feeling you were back.”

The man was none other than Yang Hong’s father. After a night’s rest, he had awoken fully refreshed.

”Dad! You’re awake!” Hearing her father’s voice, Yang Hong quickly lifted her head, a look of surprise on her face.

At the same time, she suddenly remembered that Ye Haochuan was still in her bed, and quickly ducked her head again, complaining, ”Dad, this is my private room. How can you just walk in like that?”

”I saw some clues and came over to see if it was you who had come back. Alright, alright, I’m heading out,” said Father Yang, nodding his head and preparing to leave.

Suddenly, something caught his eye, and he noticed something amiss with his daughter’s bed.

”Daughter, did you bring someone back with you?” Father Yang asked with a probing tone.

”Ah! No way?!” At her father’s words, Yang Hong immediately panicked and hastily replied.

”Is that so? Then why is the quilt on your bed bulging so much if you’re alone?”

Caught out, Yang Hong could only lie, ”It’s a female colleague of mine.”

”Nonsense! The clothes at the edge of the bed are clearly a man’s!” Father Yang’s eyes were sharp as he pointed at the clothes Ye Haochuan had taken off the night before.

Uncle sure has a good eye!

Hearing this, Ye Haochuan could no longer feign sleep, so he pushed off the covers and sat up boldly, one hand still wrapped around Yang Hong’s waist.

However, it was clear that Yang Hong hadn’t noticed this, and when she saw Ye Haochuan sit up, she was completely flabbergasted, her face flushing red as she said to her father, ”He, he’s a friend of mine!”

”Hello, Uncle, my name is Ye Haochuan, you can call me Little Ye,” Ye Haochuan said with a smile.

With a scrutinizing gaze, Father Yang carefully sized up Ye Haochuan.
