Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2260: Chapter 23: Good Kid, You’re Making Me Proud!

The Empire, however, is different. Due to previous rifts between the two major species, and given the Empire’s strong ones and large population, a massive extinction of species, both overt and covert, is underway in the other half of the Biochemical Sector’s region.

When comparing the two sides, the citizens of the Biochemical Sector immediately understood which side was better, and so the Orion Arm, originally an invader, instead gained great support.

”This time, both sides’ contestants will have backing, as well as financial groups enhancing their equipment and combat recovery medications. Especially a few local celebrities of the Biochemical Sector are now adored by half of the local population, akin to stars.”

Swarms of spectators are discussing the personnel and other allocations of both sides of the conflict.

For the local citizens of the Biochemical Sector, the situation at this moment concerns the gains and losses within half a light year of their territory. Many creatures live within this half-light-year area, and naturally, they spare no effort to support the strong ones from the Orion Arm and Biochemical Sector.

However, compared to the strong ones from the Biochemical Sector, the local strong ones from the Orion Arm are less concerned.

After all, besides Jia Yan’s subordinates, and his mysterious ’Stellar-level’ Avatar, it seems that not even a single dignitary can roam unhindered in the Orion Arm, let alone semi-permanent star-level strong ones, as it seems the Orion Arm lacks even one of such strong ones.

With limited selection opportunities, few strong ones are dispatched from inside the Orion Arm.

However, there are reports that the Orion Arm side is dispatching a certain number of biological strong ones, reportedly some outsiders, and have even announced that if the Empire has outside support, they too are capable of finding it. Yet, they doubt the Empire can succeed.

Of course, this must have been discussed well in advance. The Empire side knew beforehand what kind of outside support the Orion Arm would seek.

But concerning outside support, the Empire hasn’t neglected to monitor the surrounding areas, at least not within a very close range of Starfields, where there’s no talk of extraordinary geniuses being recruited by the Orion Arm. Moreover, the Empire recruited talents from a massive Starfield possessing Star River-level existence, thinking presciently that even if the Orion Arm finds outside support, the quality shouldn’t surpass what they have found. Hence, they don’t mind if the Orion Arm seeks outside support, because if Orion Arm doesn’t get outside support, they absolutely wouldn’t agree to fight with the Empire, given the huge disparity in the number of strong ones between both sides.

”Our financial group supports three local strong ones from within this half-light-year. Their strength is top-tier in this semi-invaded area, and given the stakes involving their homeland, they will undoubtedly go all out, even fight to the death, likely achieving excellent results.”

”Our financial group doesn’t have many supporters. We’re merely observing to see who wins this war. If the outlook for the Orion Arm isn’t promising, we’ll find ways to shift all our assets, even if swallowed mostly by the Orion Arm, as there’s no other way. After all, to us, the Orion Arm is an outsider power. If it can’t resist the Empire, they’ll undoubtedly abandon our Biochemical Sector first.”

”Indeed, let’s wait and see. This duel is sure to be a turning point and even likely to trigger a subsequent battle.”

The martial arts competition, concerning the major power struggle between Starfields, has attracted not only the forces or citizens from both sides but even spectators or individuals from nearby Starfields have come spontaneously.

This is something both sides welcome, as international public opinion is important, and with observers and strong ones from outer Starfields present, neither side will tear each other apart directly in this battle. At least, this will avoid provoking other Starfields, and accidental injuries would cause larger international issues.

Thus, this battle unfolded directly before countless spectators and strong ones.

”So this is the venue? Impressive, quite well-formed.”

A massive creature slowly approached the competition venue within Subspace.
