Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”Senior, oh Senior, I can’t claim to be strong, nor can I not be strong, what exactly do you want me to be? Alright, you say you haven’t seen my combat ability? Well fine, just wait, in this upcoming battle, I’ll show you, maybe my combat ability will surprise you too.”

...

The entire interstellar public opinion was in an uproar upon learning that the Giant Mosquito Fleet had finally been dispatched. The Giant Mosquito Fleet had always been kept hidden by the Hao Tower Alliance, and their deployment now signaled a change in the tragic character of the Alliance in the eyes of many ordinary residents of the Northern Star Domain, who had believed the so-called Giant Mosquito Fleet was nonexistent.

As it turned out, the fleet dispatched for battle was indeed the Giant Mosquito Fleet, which caused even those who had been supporters of the Hao Tower Alliance to adopt an unsupportive attitude. Outsiders were taboo for the Northern Star Domain, and the often-attacked Northern Alliance had never welcomed such presences.

And just a few hundred million kilometers away from the Giant Mosquito Fleet, a flank division of the victorious Red Tower Alliance Tenth Fleet was discussing the Hao Tower Alliance’s declaration about the Giant Mosquito Fleet entering battle.

”The Giant Mosquito Fleet was hidden directly ahead of us? It seems we’re in luck to encounter them. But really, can this fleet of merely three hundred rudimentary battleships dare to fight?”

”That’s not all. I heard their strongest is just at the High-space Level, it’s laughable. Such a fleet could easily be disposed of by us with a mere flick of the hand!”

As the Giant Mosquito Fleet prepared for battle, it became a hot topic in the public opinion of the entire Northern Star Domain. For those who were about to face them, like the Red Tower Alliance Tenth Fleet’s Marshal and other such dignitaries, there was a sense of exhilaration.

The Giant Mosquito Fleet was not strong, yet the Red Tower Alliance had crafted them into a high-profile adversary. If their flank division could wipe out this fleet, it would be a substantial boon to the entire Tenth Fleet’s renown.

”Don’t underestimate the Giant Mosquito Fleet,” cautioned the highest-ranking official of the Red Tower Alliance, known as the ferocious Monster Rzanine to his subordinates. ”Men Bo taking notice of this fleet and daring to fight suggests they might have some tricks up their sleeve. Moreover, we are not the entire Tenth Army, merely a vanguard unit, and the number of our battleships isn’t much larger than theirs. Be careful not to turn over in a small ditch.”

The monsters within the whole flagship had few thoughts about their commander’s statement. Being Strong Ones, the strongest of the Red Tower Alliance’s Tenth Army, they considered their commander to be overly cautious. To them, the strength of a fleet didn’t just depend on equipment or an individual Strong One—it was about the fleet’s overall combat power.

And according to the intelligence gathered on the Giant Mosquito Fleet, this fleet hadn’t been established for long; frankly speaking, they were still at the level of bandits. Compared to a regular army that had gone through the fire and blood of true warfare, there was an entire level of strength apart.

Even if the experience gap wasn’t large, considering equipment and the number of Strong Ones, their flank division was certainly far mightier.

Watching his subordinates continue to look down on the Giant Mosquito Fleet, Fleet Commander Rzanine smiled helplessly. Frankly, he did not hold the Giant Mosquito Fleet in high esteem either. His mind was already occupied with how his division would move on to attack Hao Tower Star after crushing the Giant Mosquito Fleet.

”Men Bo’s strength is a bit troublesome, and I’ll need to be cautious in combat with him. However, reinforcements will soon arrive from behind, two Starry Sky Sovereigns. He stands no chance of victory, right? Just kill Men Bo, and the outcome of the entire war will be decided!” With these thoughts, Rzanine smiled softly.

...

”Advance! This is the first large-scale group battle since the founding of our Giant Mosquito Fleet. The enemy will not show mercy nor forgive your errors. What you must do now is to fully demonstrate the results of your regular training!”

Mo Ke’s fierce voice continuously echoed throughout the battleship.
