Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 723: Chapter 17: Semi-combat Class Aircraft Carrier? [Subscription Required]_2

All Earth people finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Some truly concerned rebellious forces also began to relax at this time. But for those who were obstinate, there was no remedy. What awaited them would be the ’Earth Alliance Army,’ which had fewer numbers but vastly superior equipment levels than the past Earth Army!

In the universe, a massive spaceship, ten kilometers in length, was rapidly travelling across the sky!

This was a colossal aircraft carrier with mottled traces!

If one did not see its terrifyingly massive size of ten kilometers, most people who saw this aircraft carrier would never think it was a formidable semi-combat class aircraft. They would think it was just an old antique!

In fact, this aircraft was an old antique as well.

After enduring more than three hundred years of wind and rain, this exploration ship from the Auster Empire had become like a fading old grandfather. When it sailed in the starry sky, it was doubted whether it would directly rupture!

However, such a speculation was clearly unnecessary!

The so-called semi-combat class carriers were the trend of interstellar civilization three to four hundred years ago. But now these immense monsters have mostly disappeared!

Although massive, their combat power greatly depreciated in the era of the strong ones. The previously intimidating semi-combat class carriers that could threaten a powerful civilization were predominantly annihilated in a decisive battle with the Biochemical Empire. They were destroyed by the most potent Biochemical Emperor and the strongest commander of the Insect Clan, causing this type of monstrous vessel, which required lots of resources but proved easy to annihilate, to almost go extinct in the space wars!

But this colossal monster was still preserved because it had become an ’Exploration Ship’ even before that war erupted. It was sailing towards the starfields surrounding the Auster Empire, demonstrating its military power and undertaking an interstellar exploration that the entire Auster Empire had never done before!

Time flew by, and the huge ’semi-combat class carriers’ were vanishing one by one. It’s uncertain whether there are even a handful of them left. But this exploration ship was still slowly exploring the starry sky...

However, it was now unusually traveling at high speed!

”Commander, the data for warp speed travel is normal. We are expected to reach the stellar system known as ’Solar System’ in a year,” a tall and elegant young woman, who seemed to be an Earth person, holding a data analyzer in her hand, reported to her superior officer.

”Good, placing warp paths on our route is indeed useful! I didn’t expect that insignificant border star system we passed through would give us such a surprise. Star-condensed substances...that’s valuable!”

The commander, to whom the young woman reported, supported himself on his chair and was sitting in the captain’s position, but he was already old and frail. Even to the eyes of Earth people, he was a very old man.

Looking around, most of the operators were also quite old, with only a few young people among them.

That very old man was still spirited. His awe-inspiring eyes seemed to possess a flame!

”Those guys in the military department have forgotten us for too long. If we could find a large mine of star-condensed substances, they might look at us old antiques differently!”

”Travel faster! Reach that planet as soon as possible!”

The monstrous spaceship in the starry sky quickly sped towards its destination, seemingly faster than the speed of light!

And the shadow of a star system that lay ahead was gradually getting closer. If you looked closely, you would know that it was the solar system that nurtured Earth and the other seven major planets!

Meanwhile, another monster ship of the same size was closing in rapidly on this space system, albeit from a slightly farther distance, at the same speed!

The two faraway exploration ships were getting closer to each other!

Meanwhile, in another part of the starry sky, in the dark universe, a large group of small spacecraft, much smaller compared to those two massive ships, were also swiftly moving towards Earth. However, they were much farther away than the two exploration ships.
