[Seeking Recommendations] _1 17: Chapter 17 The First Blood-Sucking!

[Seeking Recommendations] _1 Ever since his rebirth, all of Jia Yan’s actions were not in vain.

His strenuous training endowed him with a robust body.

Besides, a proper diet further enhanced his physical conditioning!

It was such that when he encountered the extraordinary event on the train, his body was able to resist the effect of the Purple-red Potion, or else he would have definitely succumbed!

That overwhelming power of the potion could only be endured by someone with a strong physique, accompanied by some luck and determination!

Eventually, with the help of the Purple-red Potion, Jia Yan had achieved the transformation of his body.

His biggest flaw, which was also his great regret – the mouthparts – finally received an upgrade in form and obtained a truly robust function!

The current mouthparts looked ferocious, like a small hypodermic needle, yet also like a radiant black stick.

Now, it was time for him to use his upgraded ‘stick’ to ‘insert’ it into the young girl…

uh, no!

Was it ‘pierce’ into the young girl?

Ahem…

anyway, it was the first time he was trying to suck blood.

In the dark corner, Jia Yan, now a 1.5 cm long male Anopheles, quietly flew onto Ting Ting’s calf.

At this time, it seemed like even heaven wanted to support his first initiative of blood-sucking.

The car slightly trembled upon running over an object on the road!

This was the moment!

Taking advantage of this instant, Jia Yan not only solved the problem of climbing onto her leg with his massive body but also stabbed his fierce mouthparts into the girl’s tender skin!

The act of a mosquito sucking blood involves great force from the upper and lower jaws.

Two of the six mouth needles pierce the skin first and begin to secrete a special saliva that both numbs the wound and stops the blood from clotting!

Only then, do the remaining four mouth needles penetrate to begin the blood-sucking process.

So, in reality, when a mosquito sucks blood, it’s not the entire mouthpart that goes into the skin but just the six mouth needles.

At this moment, Jia Yan directly inserted two lower jaw needles!

Despite his substantial size, he, being a male mosquito, has mouthparts that, even after being enhanced, are still comparable to those of an average female Anopheles.

The needles, though causing a slight pain, went unnoticed by Ting Ting as the unexpected vibration diverted her attention, and she was also busy quarreling with Ye Tongyu!

Jia Yan’s heart felt a thrill of joy!

Then, he maneuvered the two mouth needles in his lower jaws to emit the unique mosquito saliva.

This action also went unnoticed by his target!

All six mouth needles pierced in!

“Ha-ha!

The taste of female blood, indeed, seems more delicious?!”

The blood of a beautiful red shade, quietly drawn into Jia Yan’s belly through the mouth needles!

Compared with other mouthparts, Jia Yan’s suction was far stronger than an ordinary female mosquito’s.

His blood-sucking speed was extremely fast!

Not until his enormous belly bulged slightly and the red liquid inside it was almost visible through his exoskeleton, did Jia Yan stop the intake!

He carefully and slowly withdrew the six mouth needles…

“Indeed, I can suck blood on my own!

And for the first time, I did pretty well!” Jia Yan was overjoyed.

Sucking blood as a mosquito is, in fact, a very complex process.

If the first puncture fails to hit a capillary, they must ‘dig’ elsewhere.

Thus, Jia Yan’s successful blood draw on his first try was indeed due to some luck.

Thinking of these, Jia Yan fluttered his wings and quietly flew up!

He had eaten his fill!

He returned underneath the front seat; his dark body hid in the darkness, quietly observing ‘Ting Ting’.

Now he needed to observe whether Ting Ting would have any adverse reactions from his special ‘saliva’.

He was fairly sure there wouldn’t be any; after all, humans also drank the Purple-red Potion.

Hence, his body wouldn’t generate any harmful substances from drinking the Purple-red Potion!

But everything has a contingency!

After all, his body had undergone a significant transformation; who knew if the salivary gland had mutated in some way, secreting some kind of poison!

About a minute later…

Ting Ting’s expression changed slightly, and she rubbed her legs together under the seat.

Ye Tongyu, who was crying silently beside her, noticed this and couldn’t help staring.

“What are you looking at!” Ting Ting snapped back.
