My Apocalypse System Arrives 10 Years Early

Therefore, constructing an amusement park on the lunar surface posed no technical challenges.

The ”Changgong Star Palace - Illusory Moon Realm” project was divided into several phases. The first phase alone covered more than ninety square kilometers—eighty times the size of the original Shanghai Disneyland—and featured thirty-six major attractions, including ”Moonfall Impact: Star Sand Fury,” ”Dark Abyss Ice Wings: Kunpeng Transition,” ”Celestial Calculation Maze: Thousand-Sail Star Trails,” ”Spirit Plant Hunting Ground: Mutation Frenzy,” ”Illusory Moon Theater: Secret History of Guanghan,” ”Jade Rabbit Miner: Lunar Cavern Treasure Hunting,” ”Black Hole Edge: Ancient Road Trial,” and ”Starship Command: Profound Nether Expedition,” to name a few.

Many of these attractions were designed to be exceptionally thrilling and realistic, primarily through the use of advanced holographic projections combined with Extraordinary Illusion Realm technology to create a fully immersive experience.

What’s the most important part of an amusement park? Immersion, of course.

Rides from the old Disneyland like ”Soarin’ Over the Horizon,” ”Pirates of the Caribbean,” and the ”TRON Lightcycle Power Run” couldn’t hold a candle to this place. They were products of a bygone era.

Even Disneyland’s grand finale—the ”Ignite the Dream” light and fireworks show—was on a completely different scale. In terms of visual effects, it was like a candle flame next to the sun; it wasn’t even in the same league.

For one, when watching the fireworks at Disney, everyone had to sit on the ground, crammed shoulder-to-shoulder and exhausted. If you were too far back, you couldn’t even get a clear view.

But that wouldn’t be an issue here. The venue was incredibly spacious. For the grand finale, every guest would be in an individual flying pod, floating in the air. Family-sized pods were also available. Not only was the view perfect and the visuals breathtaking, but guests could also experience simulated gravity, shockwaves, and a multi-sensory fusion of touch and smell, with the fragrance of Spirit Plants cultivated by Zhao Xueqing released to match the on-screen scenes.

Visually, the park utilized a holographic ecological dome, supported by the Computing Power of the Celestial Calculation Center in lunar orbit. Taking advantage of the Moon’s lack of atmosphere, the entire sky above the park became a holographic canopy. The projection area could span hundreds of kilometers with a nanometer-scale resolution. The visual effect was beyond words; only by witnessing it firsthand could one truly understand the meaning of awe.
