My Apocalypse System Arrives 10 Years Early

Chapter 303: Chapter 219: Indian Bro: I Told You He’s Our Indian Superhero, and You Wouldn’t Believe Me

Li Xiang also saw the ”long-renowned” Ganges River. On its banks, he saw many monkeys and then witnessed a great battle between the monkeys and stray dogs.

The pack of stray dogs was not small, numbering at least fifty or sixty. Unfortunately, they were no match for the several hundred monkeys. Before long, the dogs fled in disarray, with the monkeys in hot pursuit.

The stray dogs fled into a small town, likely hoping for human help. But the monkeys showed no fear, charging directly into the town and pillaging everything in sight.

One monkey saw a woman holding an infant, rushed over, and snatched the baby away. It dragged the infant along the ground by its leg. The woman was frantic with rage and panic. Her husband hurried over, brandishing a club, and managed to snatch the baby back.

The infant was, of course, severely injured, and it was uncertain if it would survive. The monkey, meanwhile, was beaten bloody by the furious father and fled, screeching.

But a moment later, it returned with a vengeance, bringing more monkeys to besiege the man.

’So the monkeys in India are this vicious too?’ Li Xiang thought.

’These must be macaques; they look like them. There’s a Six-Eared Macaque in *Journey to the West*. One theory is that he was the personification of Sun Wukong’s malevolent thoughts.’

’The monkeys on Mount Emei are also macaques. They often steal things and attack tourists; they’re incredibly mischievous.’

In China, macaques are naturally protected animals, so no one dares to provoke them. But that’s not the case in India. India is overrun with monkeys, and these macaques are innumerable and commit all sorts of evil. However, even though they aren’t protected animals in India, the government doesn’t dare to order a cull.

This is because India has a deity named Hanuman, the Monkey God. Culling monkeys would incite the fury of his followers, leading to a series of destabilizing consequences.

Furthermore, there are simply too many monkeys in India. According to official statistics, the monkey population exceeds 50 million. It would be impossible to kill them all, and doing so would consume enormous financial and material resources.

Besides, a simple cull is not a long-term solution. Therefore, some have suggested castrating the monkeys to strip them of their reproductive ability, thereby effectively controlling their numbers.

Unfortunately, only the Monkey King in a troop has breeding rights. Relying solely on castration to control the population is not very effective.

Then, and most importantly, these monkeys are quite intelligent, with an IQ equivalent to a six or seven-year-old child. They hold grudges and will retaliate against the staff involved in the castration procedures.

Just imagine: you castrate a monkey, and then hundreds of them come to harass and attack your home every day. Who could withstand that? Families with elderly members or children would be even more terrified.

As a result, not many people are willing to do the job.

Li Xiang, of course, was not afraid of these monkeys. He casually picked up a few small stones. WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH~ With his Giant Power of one hundred thousand jin, using just twenty to thirty percent of his Power was enough to far surpass the so-called pinnacle of the Finger Snap Divine Technique. Even if Huang the Evil and Yang Guo were present, they would be stunned speechless.

His aim was perfect. A single stone was enough to shatter a monkey’s skull.

The Monkey King was enraged and led the remaining monkeys in a charge against Li Xiang.

”Oh? Not afraid to die, are we?” Li Xiang actually laughed. With a flip of his hand, the new Big Saber, weighing over three hundred kilograms, appeared. He executed a set of the Gale Blade Technique, taking the opportunity to practice his Big Saber Martial Arts.

Like Lord Guan descending to the mortal realm, monkey blood splattered wherever his blade passed. The monkeys’ bodies fell like leaves in the wind, and in an instant, the ground was covered with them.

Like an autumn wind sweeping away fallen leaves, Li Xiang’s Blade Technique was full of wide, sweeping motions. The remaining dozens of monkeys were terrified, screeching as they fled.
