My Apocalypse System Arrives 10 Years Early

’The Apocalypse will arrive in ten years. This way, the two of them won’t be able to run off. It’s equivalent to binding them for life.’

Of course, neither of them knew the Apocalypse was coming. If they did, they’d be even more eager to sign.

Yao Yao and Zhao Xueqing didn’t hesitate in the slightest. They were even a little overjoyed as they signed the contracts and pressed their thumbprints on them.

’A ten-year contract!’ they thought. ’When working regular jobs, most of our friends only get one or two-year contracts. We wouldn’t even get the chance to sign a ten-year deal.’

Then again, for a shady, exploitative company, a ten-year contract would be a slave deed. But with a generous boss like Li Xiang, a ten-year contract was a blessing—a truly secure job.

The two of them cherished this opportunity. ’A great boss, a relaxed work environment, good pay, and close to home... where else could we find a job like this?’

After all the paperwork was done, Yao Yao joked, ”Well, Boss, I’m all yours now. I’ll be working under you, so you’d better treat me right, okay?”

Zhao Xueqing immediately rolled her eyes. She would never say something so suggestive. Instead, she took the initiative to ask Li Xiang about her future work, volunteering, ”Is there any work I can help with right now?”

’After all, my salary has already started,’ she thought. ’I can’t just take money for doing nothing, can I? I’d feel guilty and anxious.’

”I do have a few things I need you to handle!” Li Xiang gave her a thumbs-up, his eyes filled with appreciation, and then he began to assign her tasks.

Yao Yao was speechless. ’Oh my god,’ she thought, ’I always thought she was just a naive, sweet girl. I never expected her to be such a scheming girl.’

’If Zhao Xueqing had said that on its own, it would have been fine. But saying it right after my comment completely overshadowed me.’

Unwilling to be outdone, Yao Yao seized the moment while Li Xiang was taking a sip of water. ”What about me? What’s my job? Brother Xiang, just tell me what to do. I’ll definitely give it my all.”

”Don’t worry, don’t worry, I have work for you too.”

The company was now established, but building it from the ground up meant there was a mountain of work to do. Naturally, Li Xiang wasn’t going to let these two go to waste. The best part was that they weren’t just willing to work—they were competing for it, which was a rare quality.

So, he assigned them their tasks one by one.

Li Xiang explained everything in detail, occasionally drawing mind maps and jotting down key points on a piece of paper. Soon, the page was densely covered in writing, leaving both Yao Yao and Zhao Xueqing completely stunned and overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information.
