Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 121: Chapter 116: I Want to Fit In! I Want to Chase My Dreams!

”Heart’s Desire” instance was initially a solo survival instance.

Solo survival instances are among the most challenging game types in the same difficulty within the Abyssal Game.

If you exclude the threats from other players in melee and deathmatch modes, just the instance’s difficulty alone can be unmatched.

The difficulty of solo survival instances lies in the extremely low tolerance for errors; one misstep and the player dies, with no teammates to pass on intelligence from within the instance.

Lack of intelligence means countless successors will repeatedly stumble into the same pitfall.

For example, right now, on a casually encountered colorful bus, you can meet two specters, both of whom died in the same pitfall.

The owners of the two specters should have both stayed in Yifu City for a while and have encountered the colorful bus more than once, all ready to board it and enter the transfer point.

However, one chose to blend into the crowd while the other chose to kill all the dancing mannequins on board, driving through on their own.

The two relied on the colorful bus, like other vanished colorful buses, to enter a place called Dream Plaza after reaching the transfer point.

Most of Yifu City’s citizens gathered on this plaza, loudly proclaiming their wishes for the future under the committee’s lead.

Both players in the specter form were noticed by the Miracle Committee on the plaza for the same reason.

It was the reminder on the bus during transfer, suggesting the passengers onboard think about integrating into Yifu City.

The two players watched newcomers wanting to integrate into Yifu City being manipulated by various mannequins under a strange power, no longer daring to follow the bus’s directive.

Their fate was such that, upon entering the plaza, their failure to integrate into Yifu City made them stand out like candle flames in the dead of night.

Subsequently, amidst the Miracle Committee’s organization of citizens to chant ”expel the outsiders,” the two received their end.

In a solo instance, unless you have strong survival skills, the margin for error is extremely low.

Acting too conservatively might instead lead to a dead end.

However, after a solo survival instance begins invading reality, it will be forcibly turned into a group instance.

The issues of lacking survival skills and a low margin for error are resolved.

Hearing Wu Chang’s speculation, Shi Ning thought it highly likely and thus selected two players with survival skills, and for safety, Shi Ning personally made a paperman for each.

The paperman is covered with talismans, providing an effect to transfer negative status once.

In case the idea of integrating into Yifu City does cause them to be controlled by the Miracle Committee, they can use the paperman to transfer control, restoring sanity.

Having prepared everything, the two found a colorful bus heading in the direction where the mannequins and citizens disappeared.

The colorful bus successfully disappeared, and two to three minutes later, they sent a message.

Everything was safe.

They reported arriving at a special plaza, where the captured citizens gathered, and the mannequins on the plaza did not inquire why there were fewer people on the colorful bus but instead formulaically directed everyone on board to make a wish.

After a successful test, Shi Ning left four groups outside to continue searching while the other three groups entered the plaza using the same method to keep tracking.

In the group including Sword Star and Wu Chang, Wu Chang provided a crucial theory, and Sword Star, being the strongest apart from Shi Ning, was naturally selected to continue into the plaza.

They each picked up a mask from the dancing mannequins, put them on, and started the colorful bus heading towards the target transfer point.

Upon reaching the target location, the surface of the colorful bus shimmered, and in the next moment, their view shifted from an outdoor road to a section of tunnel.

Inside the tunnel, an emotionless electronic voice came from the colorful bus’s intercom.

”Passengers, please note, the next stop is Dream Plaza.”

”Dream Plaza, birthplace of miracles and core welfare of Yifu City. To ensure your safety, please silently chant in your heart, ’I want to integrate! I want to chase dreams!’

Wu Chang clicked his tongue, having previously wanted to mock this; ’I want xx, I want xx,’ these slogan formats carry a certain vibe.
