The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2859: Chapter 2859: Standing Punishment (Part 3)

Yang Ruxin stood on the hillside, looking at the village hidden deep in the mountains, and sighed softly.

”You’ve given them a chance. Whether they choose life or death is their own choice now.” Gu Qingheng held Yang Ruxin’s hand.

”I know.” Yang Ruxin nodded, ”I’m lamenting Yang Ruyu; harming herself and others. I’m considering whether to tell Yang Rusong. I’m not afraid they’ll hate me; I’m afraid he won’t be able to handle the blow.” Originally, the boy felt inferior and guilty about his family’s behavior, but these years he’s finally emerged from it. Thankfully, Yang Ruohuai has also corrected himself. If he knows his sister’s fate, will he fall into despair again?

”Family is not something one can choose.” Gu Qingheng smiled, ”But even among family, everyone has their own path. No one can be responsible for another’s whole life. You see him as too fragile.”

”You mean...”

”I mean to tell him because I feel Yang Ruyu may not necessarily repent.”

Yang Ruxin laughed, saying this person truly understands her thoughts. She felt the same way; previously, Yang Ruyu didn’t have freedom, but now it’s different. Although she poisoned her, it’s unlikely she’ll let it go. Maybe she’ll run back to the village for help then...

Yang Rusong has been living a very stable life these years. Five years ago, he passed the provincial exam but failed the national one. Originally, he wanted to give up, but everyone encouraged him to keep trying, so he’s been teaching at the school while studying hard, and plans to retake the exam next year.

It’s worth mentioning that two years ago, he also got married. His wife, Ceng Qi, was a girl he had unintentionally rescued while traveling. He had put the event behind him, yet unexpectedly she sought him out, willing to endure hardships and enjoy blessings with him. Most importantly, she earned Yang Ruxin’s approval, so he married her. Now, she’s pregnant, and he’s going to be a father.

He’s truly satisfied with such a life.

After school, he hurried to North Shore because today Lun Dou and Huang Dou didn’t come to class. After asking Hei Dou, he learned the two little girls went missing in the mountains, so he needed to inquire.

”Rusong uncle.” Just entering the door, he saw Lun Dou and Huang Dou standing in the courtyard with their punishment. However, the two little girls weren’t upset at all and greeted him enthusiastically.

”What happened with you two?” Yang Rusong walked up to the little girls with a stern face, ”Don’t you know the mountains are dangerous?”

Lun Dou stuck out her tongue: ”We know we’re wrong. Our parents have already scolded us. Didn’t you see we’ve been punished to stand?”

”Yeah, uncle Rusong, please don’t scold us anymore.” Huang Dou also nodded along.

Yang Rusong sighed, truly having no way with these little girls, but still rubbed their heads one by one, lowering his voice, ”If you’re tired of standing, sit for a while.”

Lun Dou and Huang Dou immediately covered their mouths and started to giggle.

”Young master, madam invites you to the living room.” At this moment, Chai Qin came over to call Yang Rusong.

Yang Rusong gave the little girls a glance, then turned and walked towards the living room.

Chai Qin quickly took her hands from behind and brought them to the front: ”Quickly, have some milk first.” Unexpectedly, she held a bowl, which contained a bowl of warm milk.

”Thank you, Aunt Chai Qin.” The two little girls smiled and took it, taking turns to finish drinking it.
