The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2598: Chapter 2598: Not Enough (5)

The Crown Prince and Princess of the Jin Country were arranged to stay at the Royal Posthouse, specifically designated for hosting foreign envoys. However, the Emperor did not summon them immediately; he just instructed the Crown Prince and Prince Yun, among others, to properly entertain the two guests.

In response to this, Yang Ruxin expressed a warm welcome. After all, she was still nursing, and she couldn’t possibly take the three little ones with her to a palace banquet. If she stayed too long, the children would be hungry, and she would have to deal with her milk supply, so it was better not to go to the palace.

Thus, for the next half month, it was said that the Crown Prince and the various princes took turns hosting, treating Wanyan Liang and Wanyan Ningshuang to various foods and entertainment, inviting Princess Ahyang to join as well.

All the while, Jiang Fangfei and several other noble ladies were required by the Emperor to be part of the entire process, undoubtedly to let Wanyan Liang interact with them and possibly take someone he liked with him afterward.

However, Zheng Xianrou was not included.

Gu Qingheng accompanied the whole time as a guard.

Three days later.

Instead of going to bed on time, Yang Ruxin specifically waited for Gu Qingheng to come back: ”Are you tired?” In the previous days, he usually returned after she’d fallen asleep and was gone by the time she awoke.

”Why aren’t you asleep yet?” Gu Qingheng frowned, ”It’s so late already. Plus, it’s cold now, and you’re not wearing enough—what if you catch a cold?”

”Isn’t it because I haven’t seen you for three days?” Yang Ruxin chuckled, ”Besides, I took a nap during the day, so I’m not very tired. How are you, not tired?” She called Chai Qin to bring in a bowl of hot soup she’d saved at the door.

”Not too bad.” Gu Qingheng smiled, took the soup bowl, sipped it, and let out a relieved sigh, ”Home is still the best.”

Yang Ruxin laughed, ”So, how’s the Crown Prince of Jin Country?”

”Did you stay up just to ask this?” Gu Qingheng slightly raised an eyebrow, showing a hurt expression.

”How could it be?” Yang Ruxin quickly walked over and took his hand, ”Of course, I missed you too.”

Gu Qingheng pulled her into his arms, trapping her on his lap: ”I need to see your actions to believe it.”

Yang Ruxin blushed, but nonetheless she gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek.

”That’s not enough.” Gu Qingheng chuckled softly and pressed his lips directly onto hers.

Instinctively, Yang Ruxin wanted to resist, but his force was so domineering she couldn’t struggle, so she simply gave in and wrapped her arms around his neck...

In the end, when Yang Ruxin regained her senses, daylight had already broken outside, and the man had long since left, leaving only a trail of purple marks on her body.

”That jealous beast.” Yang Ruxin sighed, resorting to seduction tactics, just for asking about Wanyan Liang? She ended up unable to get out of bed.

She quickly called Chai Qin to help her freshen up and dress, it was time to feed the three little ones.

After nursing them, Yang Ruxin accompanied the three little ones, talking and playing with them, watching them crawl around the bed.

”Madam, Wanyan Ningshuang is here.” Gu Di came in to report.

”Who?” Yang Ruxin raised her eyes in surprise.

”She says her name is Wanyan Ningshuang, a princess from Jin Country, but she only brought a maid with her, and she asks madam to go to the door quickly to greet her.” Gu Di glanced at Yang Ruxin.

Yang Ruxin frowned, ”What is she doing here? I don’t even know her. Let Mengmeng handle it, just say I’m busy and can’t leave, and send someone to inform the General as well.”
