The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2512: Chapter 2512: Three Little Beans (5)

”Have you decided on the names?” On the other side, Yuan Mengzhu looked at the three adorable babies with great fondness, but didn’t forget the important task at hand. ”You can’t just keep calling them Dabao and Erbao, can you?” There are too many names like those, easy to repeat.

”Their formal names are to be given by their father, but Xinxin already picked out their nicknames.” Dong Wenxiu’s expression twisted slightly, ”The elder brother is called Hei Dou, the second girl is called Lun Dou, and the younger girl is called Huang Dou.”

The corners of everyone’s mouths couldn’t help but twitch a little.

”We’re just regular folks, dealing with grains every day, and simple names mean they’ll grow up strong and healthy.” Dong Wenxiu seemed satisfied, ”Besides, calling them ’Dou’ sounds a lot better than sweet potato, corn, or sorghum, don’t you think?”

”Indeed!” Yuan Mengzhu couldn’t argue with that and just nodded.

Just as they were talking, the three little ”beans” started to whimper and cry. There was no choice, they’d been out for so long without food, they were hungry.

But Xinxin hadn’t woken up, and they couldn’t just call for help. Fortunately, Pei Xiaoxia was there. She was breastfeeding at that time and could temporarily feed the three little ”beans.”

However, the three little beans seemed to have made an agreement. They kept their little mouths tightly closed, even turning their little faces to one side. If you tried to force the bottle into their mouths, they would cry out loudly, which gave Pei Xiaoxia quite a scare.

Ultimately, they had to resort to milk, but the three beans wouldn’t drink it either. They ended up feeding them rice soup, which, fortunately, they accepted, and then closed their eyes and fell asleep.

Everyone looked at the sleeping three little beans, unable to help exchanging puzzled looks. They’ve become quite something.

When night fell, Yang Ruxin finally woke up, but before opening her eyes, she sensed something was amiss.

”Xinxin, you’re awake?” Gu Qingheng, who had been awake but unmoving, immediately sensed the change in Yang Ruxin’s breathing and quickly propped himself up. ”You’ve worked hard.”

”You’re really back!” Yang Ruxin smiled. Earlier, while she was giving birth, she seemed to vaguely hear his voice. She thought it was an illusion, but it turned out to be real.

”Sorry, I’m late!”

Yang Ruxin smiled, ”Have you seen the babies yet?”

Gu Qingheng suddenly felt guilty, rubbed his nose, and quickly got out of bed, ”I’ll go get you something to eat, you must be hungry.” And then he made a hasty retreat.

Yang Ruxin frowned, what was going on?

Shortly after Gu Qingheng left, Dong Wenxiu and the others came in, carrying various dishes and soups that had been stewing all afternoon, kept warm on the stove, just for Yang Ruxin to eat and drink as soon as she awoke.

Only then did Gu Qingheng finally enter the nursery.

The three little ones had just woken up, their bright eyes darting around, though it was unclear what they could see.

”The little master with the vermilion mole on his forehead.” Feng Zilan followed in and began to point them out to him, ”The second miss has a red string on her wrist, and the little miss doesn’t have one.”

Gu Qingheng’s nose suddenly tingled, and his eyes turned red. Now that he had a beloved wife and children, his life was complete. From now on, he would protect everything he loved. If anyone dared to disrupt this, he would stop at nothing to defend them.

”Madam has also become the elder madam.” Feng Zilan sniffled, ”If she knew you have triplets, she’d be so happy. From above, the elder madam’s spirit will also watch over the little master and the little misses.”

Gu Qingheng nodded, knowing his mother would certainly bless her grandchildren.
