The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2414: Chapter 2414: Off to the Outhouse (2)

About a quarter of an hour later, Ming Guang returned, but he was holding a black robe and a mask.

Ran Lei was beyond shocked inside his heart; this was a super expert. No wonder they were so confident.

Gu Qingheng quickly put the clothes on himself: ”You all wait here, don’t act rashly.” He took a special glance at Ming Guang, and only when the other nodded, did he fasten the mask onto his face.

Although the mask was only half-sized, under unfamiliar circumstances, it would be difficult to recognize him even face to face.

Gu Qingheng used Qinggong to leave the hidden hillside, moved to another hillside nearby, hid for a while, then stood up and walked away.

Only when descending from the hillside, the gold clinging to his hand seemed somewhat excited. Without Gu Qingheng’s permission, he would have gone out long ago, considering the poison here was so dense it made him hungry, right?

”You.” Suddenly, a sect member walked over, ”Just came over? And shouldn’t you be patrolling over there?”

”Just exchanged places, had to go to the lavatory.” Gu Qingheng hurriedly spoke up, using a dialect from a region in the Central Plains, deliberately lowering his voice a bit.

That person glanced at Gu Qingheng and said nothing more, turning around and walking away. After all, everyone wasn’t a herbalist, naturally needing to eat, drink, and eliminate, so going to the lavatory was very normal. Moreover, after guarding here for a month, don’t mention spies, not even a rabbit had appeared, thus vigilance naturally decreased a lot.

It was only then that Gu Qingheng noticed, although everyone wore black cloaks, the colors of the cloak straps were different. Most of the straps were black, but a few were red. The person who had just asked him had a red strap, clearly a small leader or something.

But this wasn’t the time to think more about it, he hurried towards the direction that person had pointed. There were three sect members there, along with four Medicinal Soldiers.

Though he had left briefly, these were all newly exchanged, unfamiliar to each other, thus naturally unable to discern any differences from before.

After wandering back and forth with these people for about an hour, it was time to change shifts. Even after changing shifts, one couldn’t leave; it was just allowed to return to the tent to rest and eat, then continue patrolling after two hours.

”I heard that guarding here takes a month.” One sect member sighed, waving the pancake in his hand, ”Later probably we’ll be eating this every day.”

”Alright, since we’re here, stop complaining.” Another hurriedly lowered his voice, ”Careful not to be heard by outsiders, otherwise we’re done for.”

”I’m only saying this here, don’t worry, it won’t implicate everyone.”

”Why can’t we start a fire to cook?” Gu Qingheng seemed very curious, ”I can hunt, there should be plenty of prey in these mountains, why only nibble on dry rations?”

”Starting a fire would produce smoke, easily exposing us.” The person next to him gave him a scornful look.

Gu Qingheng then stayed silent.

”Master said, once the task is accomplished, we all will have the merit of the dragon. By then, we can certainly eat and drink well.”

Gu Qingheng felt a chill in his heart; merit of the dragon? It appeared the other side indeed harbored rebellious intentions. He sighed immediately, ”But stuck here, even if there’s merit, it won’t be given to us, right?”
