The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2185: Chapter 2185: Waking Up Soon (3)

”Such lovers, the old master will treat well.” Yang Ruxin patted Fa Qingyang on the shoulder, ”Don’t worry, your mother will wake up.”

”Thank you.” Fa Qingyang’s gaze was sincere.

”Just thank me.” Gu Qingheng sneaked over silently, directly pulling Yang Ruxin into his arms and turned to leave.

Fa Qingyang frowned, was it really necessary for this man to act like this? She merely respected Yang Ruxin, after all. Why on earth was he so guarded against her? He had never seen such a petty man.

Two more days passed. Although Xing Ziyu had not yet awakened, her physical condition had significantly improved. For instance, her heartbeat had started to become strong, her breathing had become more pronounced, and even each daily bowl of ginseng soup was no longer just a balm for her lips. She could swallow simply, and there was even subconscious excretion...

Each change brought the members of the Fa Family an extra measure of hope.

”Looking at this condition, it might not be long before she wakes up.” Yang Ruxin loudly announced, ”Master, no matter what, we have to stay a few more days to witness this miracle.”

”As you wish.” Dao Xuzi waved his hand, indifferent as long as he had food and drink.

Zhang Xinlan wanted Xing Ziyu dead but hoped to act after Yang Ruxin and the others left; otherwise, it would be easy for all her efforts to come to nothing. However, these people were not departing, and Xing Ziyu’s condition was improving. If she suddenly woke up, there would be no chance to act. So, after contemplating for a long time, she finally decided to act immediately.

However, killing Xing Ziyu now was not feasible. After all, with so many experts around, even if she succeeded in killing her, she would gain nothing good from it. She was not looking for a fight-to-the-death but wanted to grow old with Fa Hanxing, so she temporarily changed her strategy.

In the main courtyard, Fa Hanxing had just finished cleaning Xing Ziyu’s body and was now trimming her nails.

”Cousin-in-law, take a rest.” Zhang Xinlan entered with bird’s nest congee, ”Let me handle these things.” As she spoke, she put down the tray and reached out to take the small scissors from him.

Fa Hanxing avoided her hand: ”Xinlan, you’ve worked hard too.” He smiled, ”But I don’t want anyone else to handle Ziyu’s matters.”

”But cousin-in-law... if you keep this up, it will be too exhausting for you. If cousin knew, she’d be heartbroken...”

”I don’t feel tired.” Fa Hanxing shook his head.

”I don’t care.” Zhang Xinlan promptly pulled him up, ”I have to look after you for cousin, or she’ll be sad seeing you so worn out when she wakes up.”

Fa Hanxing just shook his head in resignation.

”Tonight, you take a rest. I’ll stay and accompany cousin.” Zhang Xinlan held his arm a little unwilling to let go.

”Alright.” Fa Hanxing withdrew his arm and stepped back two steps, ”Then Xinlan, I’ll have to trouble you.”

”No trouble at all.” Zhang Xinlan let out a bitter smile, walked over to the bedside, and carefully continued trimming Xing Ziyu’s remaining nails.

Fa Hanxing didn’t leave either, just sat on the lounge chair beside.

Zhang Xinlan glanced back at the seemingly asleep man, a slight smile playing on her lips. She put down the scissors, stood up to fetch a light quilt, and draped it over him.

Fa Hanxing opened his eyes slightly but found his eyelids heavy, while the scent on the woman seemed pleasant, causing him to lean closer unconsciously...
